Then Manoah took a young goat, together with the grain offering, and sacrificed it on a rock to the Lord. And the Lord did an amazing thing while Manoah and his wife watched:

Manoah got a young goat. He brought it along with the grain offering. He sacrificed it on a rock to the Lord. Then the Lord did an amazing thing. It happened while Manoah and his wife were watching.

So Manoah took the young goat with the grain offering, and offered it on the rock to the Lord, to the one who works wonders, and Manoah and his wife were watching.

Then Manoah took a young goat and a grain offering and offered it on a rock as a sacrifice to the Lord. And as Manoah and his wife watched, the Lord did an amazing thing.

基甸去預備了一隻山羊羔，和十公斤麵粉做的無酵餅，把肉放在籃子裡，把湯盛在鍋中，帶到橡樹之下，獻上給他。神的使者對基甸說：“把肉和無酵餅拿出來，擺在這塊磐石上，把湯倒出來。”他就這樣行了。耶和華的使者伸出手中的杖，杖頭一觸著肉和無酵餅，就有火從磐石中上來，把肉和無酵餅都燒盡了；耶和華的使者就從基甸的眼前消失了。

以利亞對眾人說：“你們走近我這裡來。”眾人就都走近他面前。他重修已經毀壞了的耶和華的祭壇。以利亞照著雅各子孫支派的數目，拿了十二塊石頭。（耶和華的話曾臨到雅各說：“你的名要叫以色列。”）以利亞奉耶和華的名用這些石頭築了一座壇，在壇的四周挖溝，可容十四公升種籽，然後把柴排好，又把公牛切成塊子，放在柴上，就說：“你們盛滿四桶水，倒在燔祭和柴上。”又說：“倒第二次。”他們就倒第二次；又說：“倒第三次。”他們就倒第三次。水流到祭壇的四周，甚至水溝裡也滿了水。到了獻晚祭的時候，以利亞先知近前來，說：“亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神耶和華，求你今天使人知道你是在以色列中的神，我是你的僕人，又是奉你的命令行這一切事。耶和華啊，求你應允我，應允我！使這民知道你耶和華是神，又知道是你使這民的心再回轉過來的。”於是有耶和華的火降下來，吞滅了燔祭、木柴、石頭和塵土，連溝裡的水也燒乾了。
