約書亞戰此諸王為日已久、

主諭我曰、毋畏之、我以彼及其軍眾土地付於爾手、爾必待之、與昔待居希實本之亞摩利王西宏無異、

其原轄之地、即黑門山、撒迦與巴珊全地、至基述族瑪迦族之交界、及基列之半、至希實本王西宏國之界、

自是以後、米甸人服於以色列人、不敢再舉首、凡基甸在世之日、斯地太平、歷四十年、○
