And Adonibezek said, Threescore and ten kings, having their thumbs and their great toes cut off, gathered[ their meat] under my table: as I have done, so God hath requited me. And they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.

亞多尼比色曰、昔有七十王、手足大指、為我所斷、原文作昔有七十王斷手足大指者拾食物於我案下、今天主循我所行、報施於我、乃攜至耶路撒冷而死於彼、

Then Adoni-Bezek said,“ Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off have picked up scraps under my table. Now God has paid me back for what I did to them.” They brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.

Adoni- Bezek said,“ I cut off the thumbs and big toes of 70 kings. I made them pick up scraps under my table. Now God has paid me back for what I did to them.” The men of Judah brought Adoni- Bezek to Jerusalem. That’s where he died.

And Adoni-bezek said,“ Seventy kings with their thumbs and their big toes cut off used to pick up scraps under my table. As I have done, so God has repaid me.” And they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.

Adoni bezek said,“ I once had seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off, eating scraps from under my table. Now God has paid me back for what I did to them.” They took him to Jerusalem, and he died there.

Adoni-bezek said,“ Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off used to pick up scraps under my table. God has repaid me for what I have done.” They brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.

And Adoni bezek said,“ Seventy kings with their thumbs and their big toes cut off used to gather up scraps under my table; as I have done, so God has repaid me.” So they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.

And Adoni-Bezek said,“ Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off used to gather scraps under my table; as I have done, so God has repaid me.” Then they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.

And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

Judge not, that ye be not judged.For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and[ their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

And if[ any] mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life,Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him[ again].And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.

Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou[ wast] not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled;[ and] when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
