The Benjamites, however, did not drive out the Jebusites, who were living in Jerusalem; to this day the Jebusites live there with the Benjamites.

But the people of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites living in Jerusalem. So to this day they live there with the people of Benjamin.

But the people of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites who lived in Jerusalem, so the Jebusites have lived with the people of Benjamin in Jerusalem to this day.

The tribe of Benjamin, however, failed to drive out the Jebusites, who were living in Jerusalem. So to this day the Jebusites live in Jerusalem among the people of Benjamin.

At the same time the Benjaminites did not drive out the Jebusites who were living in Jerusalem. The Jebusites have lived among the Benjaminites in Jerusalem to this day.

But the sons of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites who lived in Jerusalem; so the Jebusites have lived with the sons of Benjamin in Jerusalem to this day.

至於住耶路撒冷的耶布斯人，猶大人不能把他們趕出去。於是，耶布斯人與猶大人同住在耶路撒冷，直到今日。

王和他的人到了耶路撒冷，要攻打住那地方的耶布斯人。耶布斯人對大衛說：「你必不能進到這裏，就是盲人、瘸子都可以把你擊退。」就是說：「大衛絕不能進到這裏。」然而大衛攻取了錫安的堡壘，就是大衛的城。當日，大衛說：「誰攻打耶布斯人，就要從水道上去，攻打我心裏所恨惡的瘸子、盲人。」因此有人說：「盲人和瘸子不得進殿裏去。」大衛住在堡壘裏，給它起名叫大衛城。大衛又從米羅往內，周圍建築。

那人不願再住一夜，就備上兩匹驢，帶着他的妾起身走了，來到耶布斯的對面，耶布斯就是耶路撒冷。將近耶布斯的時候，太陽快下山了，僕人對主人說：「來吧，我們進這耶布斯人的城，在這裏住宿。」主人對他說：「我們不可進入外邦人的城，那不是以色列人的地方，我們越過這裏到基比亞去吧。」

猶大人攻打耶路撒冷，奪取了它，用刀殺城內的人，並且放火燒城。

便雅憫支派，按着宗族抽籤所得之地，是在猶大子孫和約瑟子孫之間。他們北邊的地界是從約旦河起，上到耶利哥斜坡的北邊，再往西上到山區，直到伯‧亞文的曠野。這地界從那裏往南經過路斯，直到路斯的斜坡，路斯就是伯特利，又下到亞他錄‧亞達，直到下伯‧和崙南邊的山。這地界往西延伸，又轉向南，從伯‧和崙南邊對面的山，直通到猶大人的城基列‧巴力，基列‧巴力就是基列‧耶琳。這就是西邊的地界。南邊是從基列‧耶琳的頂端為起點，這地界往西通到尼弗多亞水泉，這地界又下到欣嫩子谷對面山的邊緣，就是利乏音谷的北邊；又下到欣嫩谷，沿着耶布斯斜坡的南邊，下到隱‧羅結；又往北轉彎，通到隱‧示麥，直到亞都冥斜坡對面的基利綠，又下到呂便之子波罕的磐石，又往北經過亞拉巴對面的斜坡，下到亞拉巴。這地界又經過伯‧曷拉斜坡的北邊，直通到鹽海的北灣，就是約旦河的南端為止。這就是南邊的地界。東邊的地界是約旦河。這是便雅憫人按着宗族，照着他們四圍的邊界所得的地業。便雅憫支派按着宗族所得的城鎮就是：耶利哥、伯‧曷拉、伊麥‧基悉、伯‧亞拉巴、洗瑪臉、伯特利、亞文、巴拉、俄弗拉、基法‧阿摩尼、俄弗尼和迦巴，共十二座城，以及所屬的村莊；又有基遍、拉瑪、比錄、米斯巴、基非拉、摩撒、利堅、伊利毗勒、他拉拉、洗拉、以利弗、耶布斯，耶布斯就是耶路撒冷，基比亞、基列，共十四座城，以及所屬的村莊。這是便雅憫人按着宗族所得的地業。
