The Benjamites, however, did not drive out the Jebusites, who were living in Jerusalem; to this day the Jebusites live there with the Benjamites.

But the people of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites living in Jerusalem. So to this day they live there with the people of Benjamin.

But the people of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites who lived in Jerusalem, so the Jebusites have lived with the people of Benjamin in Jerusalem to this day.

The tribe of Benjamin, however, failed to drive out the Jebusites, who were living in Jerusalem. So to this day the Jebusites live in Jerusalem among the people of Benjamin.

At the same time the Benjaminites did not drive out the Jebusites who were living in Jerusalem. The Jebusites have lived among the Benjaminites in Jerusalem to this day.

But the sons of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites who lived in Jerusalem; so the Jebusites have lived with the sons of Benjamin in Jerusalem to this day.

至於住耶路撒冷的耶布斯人、猶大人卻不能把他們趕出；耶布斯人就和猶大人同住在耶路撒冷、直到今日。

王和跟隨的人到了耶路撒冷、要攻打那地的居民耶布斯人；耶布斯人對大衛說道：『你不能進這裏來；只須瞎眼的瘸腿的便可以將你擊退』，意思是說：大衛總不能進那裏去。然而大衛卻攻取了錫安的營寨、就是大衛城。那一天大衛就說：『誰攻擊耶布斯人、到達水溝去擊打大衛心所恨惡的瘸子瞎子，誰就可以得到重賞。』因此有命令說：瞎眼的瘸腿的不得進聖殿。大衛住在營寨裏，把營寨叫做大衛城；大衛又從米羅向聖殿方面往裏、周圍築牆。

那人不情願再住一宵，就起身走了；他來到耶布斯、就是耶路撒冷、的對面；和他同行的有那豫備好了的兩匹驢；他的妾也跟着他。他們在耶布斯附近的時候，日快要落了；僮僕對主人說：『來吧，我們轉到這耶布斯人的城裏去過夜吧。』主人對他說：『我們不可轉到這些不是以色列人住的外族人之城裏；我們必須過去到基比亞那邊。』；

猶大人攻打了耶路撒冷，將城攻取，用刀擊殺了城裏的人，放火燒城。

便雅憫人支派的鬮按家族拈上了；他們拈鬮所得的地、其境界是出於猶大子孫與約瑟子孫之間。他們的境界、北邊是從約但河起，那界線上到耶利哥阪坡北面，又往西上去，通過山地，其終點是伯亞文曠野。界線從那裏往南過路斯，到路斯阪坡（路斯就是伯特利），又下亞他綠亞達，靠近下伯和崙南邊的山；從界線又延長，繞西邊往南，從伯和崙南邊東面的山走，其終點是猶大子孫的城基列巴力、就是基列耶琳：這是西邊的界。南邊的界是從基列耶琳的儘邊起，界線又向死海而出，出到尼弗多亞的水源；又下到欣嫩子平谷東面之山的儘邊，就是利乏音山谷北邊的山；又下欣嫩平谷、到耶布斯人的阪坡南邊，再下隱羅結；又折往北，出隱示麥，出到亞都冥坡對面的基利綠，又下如便兒子波罕的石頭；又過到伯亞拉巴的阪坡北邊，而下亞拉巴；那界線過到伯曷拉阪坡北邊；界線終點是鹽海的北汊、約但河的儘南邊：這就是南界。在東邊、它的界是約但河：這是便雅憫人按家族所得的產業，照它四圍的界記下來的。便雅憫人支派按家族所得的城是耶利哥、伯曷拉、伊麥基悉、伯亞拉巴、洗瑪臉、伯特利、亞文、巴拉、俄弗拉、基法阿摩尼、俄弗尼、迦巴：十二座城，和屬這些城的村莊；基遍、拉瑪、比錄、米斯巴、基非拉、摩撒、利堅、伊利毘勒、他拉拉、洗拉、以利弗、耶布斯、（就是耶路撒冷）、基比亞、基列：十四座城，和屬這些城的村莊：這是便雅憫人按家族所得的產業。
