You have condemned and murdered the innocent one, who was not opposing you.

You have judged and murdered people who aren’t guilty. And they weren’t even opposing you.

You have condemned and murdered the righteous person. He does not resist you.

You have condemned and killed innocent people, who do not resist you.

You have condemned, you have murdered the righteous, who does not resist you.

You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you.

Ye have condemned, ye have killed the righteous one; he doth not resist you.

You have condemned— you have murdered— the righteous man; he does not resist you.

Ye have condemned[ and] killed the just;[ and] he doth not resist you.

You have condemned and murdered the righteous person, although he does not resist you.

You have condemned and you have murdered the righteous one. He doesn’t resist you.

He who committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth;and while being abusively insulted, He did not insult in return; while suffering, He did not threaten, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously;

Now the passage of Scripture which he was reading was this:“ He was led like a sheep to slaughter; And like a lamb that is silent before its shearer, So He does not open His mouth.

and he entered the Praetorium again and* said to Jesus,“ Where are You from?” But Jesus gave him no answer.So Pilate* said to Him,“ Are you not speaking to me? Do You not know that I have authority to release You, and I have authority to crucify You?”Jesus answered him,“ You would have no authority over Me at all, if it had not been given to you from above; for this reason the one who handed Me over to you has the greater sin.”

But Jesus responded and said,“ Stop! No more of this.” And He touched his ear and healed him.And Jesus said to the chief priests and officers of the temple and elders who had come against Him,“ Have you come out with swords and clubs as you would against a man inciting a revolt?While I was with you daily in the temple, you did not lay hands on Me; but this hour and the power of darkness are yours.”

“ Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a Man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know—this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death.

But I say to you, do not show opposition against an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other toward him also.

You lust and do not have, so you commit murder. And you are envious and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.

He was oppressed and afflicted, Yet He did not open His mouth; Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, So He did not open His mouth.

But you disowned the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,but put to death the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are witnesses.

who both killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out. They are not pleasing to God, but hostile to all people,hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved; with the result that they always reach the limit of their sins. But wrath has come upon them fully.

But My righteous one will live by faith; And if he shrinks back, My soul has no pleasure in him.

And he said,‘ The God of our fathers has appointed you to know His will and to see the Righteous One and to hear a message from His mouth.

let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead— by this name this man stands here before you in good health.He is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders, but which became the chief cornerstone.And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved.”

“ Therefore, behold, I am sending you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will flog in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city,so that upon you will fall the guilt of all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.

They will ban you from the synagogue, yet an hour is coming for everyone who kills you to think that he is offering a service to God.These things they will do because they have not known the Father nor Me.

Which one of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? They killed those who had previously announced the coming of the Righteous One, and you have now become betrayers and murderers of Him;

For those who live in Jerusalem, and their rulers, recognizing neither Him nor the declarations of the prophets which are read every Sabbath, fulfilled these by condemning Him.And though they found no grounds for putting Him to death, they asked Pilate that He be executed.

But you have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress you and personally drag you into court?

Now when Pilate saw that he was accomplishing nothing, but rather that a riot was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd, saying,“ I am innocent of this Man’s blood; you yourselves shall see.”And all the people replied,“ His blood shall be on us and on our children!”

But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowds to ask for Barabbas, and to put Jesus to death.

Or do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?How then would the Scriptures be fulfilled, which say that it must happen this way?”

But when the vine growers saw the son, they said among themselves,‘ This is the heir; come, let’s kill him and take possession of his inheritance!’
