We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.

All of us get tripped up in many ways. Suppose someone is never wrong in what they say. Then they are perfect. They are able to keep their whole body under control.

For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body.

這樣，舌頭在百體裏也是最小的，卻能說大話。看哪，最小的火能點着最大的樹林。舌頭就是火，在我們百體中，舌頭是個罪惡的世界，能污穢全身，也能把生命的輪子點起來，並且是從地獄裏點着的。

「你的民若得罪你（世上沒有不犯罪的人），你向他們發怒，將他們交給仇敵擄到仇敵之地，或遠或近，

但忍耐也當成功，使你們成全、完備，毫無缺欠。

但聖經把眾人都圈在罪裏，使所應許的福因信耶穌基督，歸給那信的人。

時常行善而不犯罪的義人，世上實在沒有。

就如經上所記：沒有義人，連一個也沒有。

就要禁止舌頭不出惡言，嘴唇不說詭詐的話。

誰能說，我潔淨了我的心，我脫淨了我的罪？

我覺得有個律，就是我願意為善的時候，便有惡與我同在。

我是攻克己身，叫身服我，恐怕我傳福音給別人，自己反被棄絕了。

我們都像不潔淨的人；所有的義都像污穢的衣服。我們都像葉子漸漸枯乾；我們的罪孽好像風把我們吹去。

我們傳揚他，是用諸般的智慧，勸戒各人，教導各人，要把各人在基督裏完完全全地引到神面前。

在各樣善事上成全你們，叫你們遵行他的旨意；又藉着耶穌基督在你們心裏行他所喜悅的事。願榮耀歸給他，直到永永遠遠。阿們！

有你們那裏的人，作基督耶穌僕人的以巴弗問你們安。他在禱告之間，常為你們竭力地祈求，願你們在神一切的旨意上得以完全，信心充足，能站立得穩。

那賜諸般恩典的神曾在基督裏召你們，得享他永遠的榮耀，等你們暫受苦難之後，必要親自成全你們，堅固你們，賜力量給你們。
