We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.

All of us get tripped up in many ways. Suppose someone is never wrong in what they say. Then they are perfect. They are able to keep their whole body under control.

For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body.

如果有人自以为虔诚，却不勒住自己的舌头，就等于是自己欺骗自己，他的所谓虔诚也毫无价值。

说话谨慎，可保性命；口无遮拦，自取灭亡。

因为圣经上说：“若有人热爱生命，渴望幸福，就要舌头不出恶言，嘴唇不说诡诈的话。

因为将来要凭你口中的话来判断你是否有罪。”

同样，人的舌头虽然很小，却能说夸大的话。看啊，小火星能点燃大森林。舌头就是火，是我们身体上的一个充满邪恶的世界，能玷污人的全身，足以毁掉人的一生，它是从地狱点燃的火。

“世上没有不犯罪的人，如果你的子民得罪你，以致你向他们发怒，让敌人把他们掳走，不论远近，

你们要坚忍到底，使你们纯全、完备、毫无缺欠。

但圣经说万物都在罪的权势下，为要使那些相信的人因为相信耶稣基督而得到应许。

诚然，在地上无法找到一个一生行善、从未犯罪的义人。

正如圣经上说：“没有义人，一个也没有，

就要舌头不出恶言，嘴唇不说诡诈的话。

谁敢说：“我心灵洁净，纯洁无罪？”

因此，我发现一个律：我想行善的时候，恶就不放过我。

我严格训练自己，克服自身的软弱，免得我传福音给别人，自己却被淘汰了。

我们的善行不过像肮脏的衣服，我们都像污秽的人，像渐渐枯干的叶子，我们的罪恶像风一样把我们吹去。

我们传扬基督，用各样的智慧劝诫、教导众人，使他们在基督里长大成熟，好把他们带到上帝面前。

“世上没有不犯罪的人，如果你的子民得罪你，以致你向他们发怒，让敌人把他们掳走，不论远近，

因为人罪恶本性的私欲与圣灵作对，圣灵也与罪恶本性的私欲作对，两者势不两立，使你们不能做自己想做的事。

人只要触犯律法中的一条，就等于违犯了全部，

在各样善事上成全你们，好使你们遵行祂的旨意，并借着主耶稣在你们心中动工，使你们做祂喜悦的事！愿荣耀归给上帝，直到永永远远。阿们！
