Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?

My dear brothers and sisters, listen to me. Hasn’t God chosen those who are poor in the world’s eyes to be rich in faith? Hasn’t he chosen them to receive the kingdom? Hasn’t he promised it to those who love him?

Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him?

Listen to me, dear brothers and sisters. Hasn’t God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith? Aren’t they the ones who will inherit the Kingdom he promised to those who love him?

Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he has promised to those who love him?

Listen, my beloved brothers and sisters: did God not choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?

Hearken, my beloved brethren; did not God choose them that are poor as to the world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he promised to them that love him?

Listen, my dear brothers: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that He has promised to those who love Him?

Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

“ Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (niv)

Looking at his disciples, he said:“ Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. (niv)

I know your afflictions and your poverty— yet you are rich! I know about the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. (niv)

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. (niv)

and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, (niv)

“ Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. (niv)

“ This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.” (niv)

Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth.But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things— and the things that are not— to nullify the things that are, (niv)

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. (niv)

I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity.My fruit is better than fine gold; what I yield surpasses choice silver.I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice,bestowing a rich inheritance on those who love me and making their treasuries full. sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything. (niv)

Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. (niv)

The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor. (niv)

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, (niv)

and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (niv)

So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours,whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future— all are yours,and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God. (niv)

What answer shall be given to the envoys of that nation?“ The Lord has established Zion, and in her his afflicted people will find refuge.” (niv)

Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. (niv)

Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said,“ Listen to me, everyone, and understand this. (niv)

The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (niv)

It was revoked on that day, and so the oppressed of the flock who were watching me knew it was the word of the Lord. (niv)

To this he replied:“ Brothers and fathers, listen to me! The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham while he was still in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Harran. (niv)

And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me, (niv)

who shows no partiality to princes and does not favor the rich over the poor, for they are all the work of his hands? (niv)

So I shepherded the flock marked for slaughter, particularly the oppressed of the flock. Then I took two staffs and called one Favor and the other Union, and I shepherded the flock. (niv)

encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory. (niv)

He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. (niv)

Now then, my sons, listen to me; pay attention to what I say. (niv)

All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. (niv)

Once more the humble will rejoice in the Lord; the needy will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. (niv)
