這不是你們對人有歧視，成了心懷惡意的審判官嗎？

這豈不是你們心裏有了分別，而以不正的看法鑒定人麼？

難道你們中間不就有了歧視，而你們也成了心懷惡念的審判官嗎？

豈非爾衷歧異、以惡念判別乎、

豈非別貧富、而念慮未平乎、

豈非心中偏視人、而以惡念判別人乎、

此豈非以偏心待人、而妄分厚薄乎？

have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?

If you would, aren’t you treating some people better than others? Aren’t you like judges who have evil thoughts?

have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?

doesn’t this discrimination show that your judgments are guided by evil motives?

Stop judging according to outward appearances; rather judge according to righteous judgment.”

God is not partial to princes and does not favor the rich over the poor, for they are all the work of His hands.

Don’t criticize one another, brothers. He who criticizes a brother or judges his brother criticizes the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.

“ Do not judge, so that you won’t be judged.For with the judgment you use, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye but don’t notice the log in your own eye?Or how can you say to your brother,‘ Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ and look, there’s a log in your eye?Hypocrite! First take the log out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

“ So I in turn have made you despised and humiliated before all the people because you are not keeping My ways but are showing partiality in your instruction.”

For He stands at the right hand of the needy to save him from those who would condemn him.

In the same way, the rich man will wither away while pursuing his activities.A man who endures trials is blessed, because when he passes the test he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.No one undergoing a trial should say,“ I am being tempted by God.” For God is not tempted by evil, and He Himself doesn’t tempt anyone.But each person is tempted when he is drawn away and enticed by his own evil desires.Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death.Don’t be deceived, my dearly loved brothers.Every generous act and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights; with Him there is no variation or shadow cast by turning.By His own choice, He gave us a new birth by the message of truth so that we would be the firstfruits of His creatures.My dearly loved brothers, understand this: Everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger,for man’s anger does not accomplish God’s righteousness.Therefore, ridding yourselves of all moral filth and evil, humbly receive the implanted word, which is able to save you.But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.Because if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man looking at his own face in a mirror.For he looks at himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.But the one who looks intently into the perfect law of freedom and perseveres in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but one who does good works— this person will be blessed in what he does.If anyone thinks he is religious without controlling his tongue, then his religion is useless and he deceives himself.Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
