And the scripture was fulfilled that says,“ Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend.

That is what Scripture means where it says,“ Abraham believed God. God accepted Abraham because he believed. So his faith made him right with God.”( Genesis 15:6) And that’s not all. God called Abraham his friend.

亞伯蘭信耶和華，耶和華便算他為義人。

「然而，以色列啊，你是我的僕人；雅各啊，你是我揀選的，是我朋友亞伯拉罕的後裔。

我們的上帝啊，你不是曾經在你的以色列子民面前驅逐這地方的居民，把這片土地賜給你的朋友亞伯拉罕的後裔永遠作產業嗎？

聖經上說：「亞伯拉罕信上帝，就被算為義人。」

聖經上不是說「亞伯拉罕信上帝，就被算為義人」嗎？人工作得來的工錢不算是恩典，是應得的。但對於只信赦免罪人的上帝、不靠功勞的人，他的信就被算為義。大衛也說不靠行為而被上帝算為義的人是有福的，他說：

因此，他被算為義人。「他被算為義人」這句話不單單是為他寫的，也是為將來要被算為義人的我們寫的，就是相信上帝使主耶穌從死裡復活的人。

為朋友捨命可以說是人間最偉大的愛了。你們如果照我的吩咐去做，就是我的朋友。我不再稱你們為奴僕，因為奴僕不知道主人的事。我稱你們為朋友，因為我把從父那裡聽見的一切都告訴了你們。

在會幕內，耶和華跟摩西面對面說話，好像兩個朋友談話一樣。然後，摩西返回營中，但他的年輕助手、嫩的兒子約書亞仍然留在會幕。

他們還把兩個強盜釘在十字架上，一個在祂右邊，一個在祂左邊，

祂就對他們說：「你們剛才聽見的這段經文今天已經應驗了。」

但願人與上帝之間有仲裁者，如同人與人之間。

聖經上說，『工匠丟棄的石頭已成了房角石。

聖經記載著上帝對法老說的話：「我使你興起是為了在你身上彰顯我的權能，使我的名傳遍天下。」

聖經早就指明，上帝要叫外族人因信而被稱為義人，祂預先將福音傳給亞伯拉罕，說：「萬國必因你而蒙福。」所以那些信上帝的人必和有信心的亞伯拉罕一同得到祝福。凡以遵行律法為本的人都在咒詛之下，因為聖經上說：「凡不遵行律法書上一切命令的人必受咒詛。」

上帝並沒有放棄祂預先揀選的子民。你們不知道聖經上有關以利亞先知的記載嗎？他在上帝面前控告以色列人，說：

他究竟是怎麼被算為義人的呢？是他受割禮以前呢？還是以後呢？不是以後，而是以前。他後來受割禮只不過是一個記號，表明他在受割禮前已經因信而被稱為義人了。他因此成為一切未受割禮的信徒之父，使這些人也可以被算為義人。

「弟兄們，關於帶人抓耶穌的猶大，聖靈藉著大衛的口早已預言，這經文必須要應驗。

但聖經說所有的人都在罪的權勢下，爲要使那些相信的人因爲相信耶穌基督而得到應許。

聖經全部是上帝啟示的，有益於教導、督責、使人歸正、培養人行義，

因為聖經上說：「看啊，我在錫安放了一塊蒙揀選的寶貴房角石，信靠祂的人必不會蒙羞。」
