原来那位说过“不可通奸”的，也说过“不可杀人”。你即使不通奸，却杀人，你还是成了违犯律法的人。

蓋言毋淫者、亦言毋殺、爾若不淫而殺、則為干律者、

誡曰、勿淫、又曰、勿殺、爾雖無淫行而殺人、又為罹法、

蓋言勿淫者、亦言勿殺、則爾雖不淫而殺人、亦為犯全律法、

蓋誡爾毋犯姦淫者、天主也；而誡爾毋殺人者、亦天主也。爾即未犯姦淫、而犯殺人、是亦犯法而已矣。

For he who said,“ You shall not commit adultery,” also said,“ You shall not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.

God said,“ Do not commit adultery.”( Exodus 20:14; Deuteronomy 5:18) He also said,“ Do not commit murder.”( Exodus 20:13; Deuteronomy 5:17) Suppose you don’t commit adultery but do commit murder. Then you have broken the law.

For he who said,“ Do not commit adultery,” also said,“ Do not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.

For the same God who said,“ You must not commit adultery,” also said,“ You must not murder.” So if you murder someone but do not commit adultery, you have still broken the law.

“你们听过那吩咐古人的话：‘不可杀人。杀人的，当遭受审判。’但是我告诉你们：所有向他弟兄发怒的，当遭受审判；骂他弟兄‘废物’的，当遭受议会的审判；骂‘蠢货’的，当遭受烈火的地狱。所以，如果你在祭坛献上祭物的时候，在那里想起弟兄向你怀着怨，就要把祭物留在祭坛前，先去与弟兄和好，然后再回来献上你的祭物。你要趁着与你的对头还在路上的时候，赶快与他和解，免得他把你交给审判官，审判官把你交给差役，你就会被投进监狱了。我确实地告诉你：除非你还清了最后的一个铜币，否则你绝不能从那里出来。“你们听过那吩咐：‘不可通奸。’但是我告诉你们：所有怀着欲念看女人的，就已经在心里和她通奸了。

这是因为，那“不可通奸，不可杀人，不可偷窃，不可贪心”的诫命，或是别的什么诫命，都包含在“要爱邻如己”这一句话里了。

那个人就问：“哪些诫命呢？”耶稣回答说：“不可杀人、不可通奸、不可偷窃、不可做伪证、

主耶和华啊，如果你察看罪孽，谁能站立得住呢？然而赦免在于你，好使人敬畏你。

你是知道这些诫命的：‘不可通奸、不可杀人、不可偷窃、不可做伪证、要孝敬父母。’”
