But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.

然務必求之以信、莫存絲毫狐疑。狐疑之人、如海上波濤、因風而起、隨風而轉、漫無定止；

Then Jesus told them,“ I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain,‘ May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.

Then Jesus said to the disciples,“ Have faith in God.I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain,‘ May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.

So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas. Your strength comes from God’s grace, not from rules about food, which don’t help those who follow them.

In every place of worship, I want men to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from anger and controversy.

These people are as useless as dried up springs or as mist blown away by the wind. They are doomed to blackest darkness.

When these people eat with you in your fellowship meals commemorating the Lord’s love, they are like dangerous reefs that can shipwreck you. They are like shameless shepherds who care only for themselves. They are like clouds blowing over the land without giving any rain. They are like trees in autumn that are doubly dead, for they bear no fruit and have been pulled up by the roots.They are like wild waves of the sea, churning up the foam of their shameful deeds. They are like wandering stars, doomed forever to blackest darkness.

But you are as unruly as a flood, and you will be first no longer. For you went to bed with my wife; you defiled my marriage couch.
