When tempted, no one should say,“ God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;

当人受到诱惑时，不可说：“是上帝在诱惑我。”因为上帝不受邪恶的诱惑，也不诱惑人。

人見誘、原文作被試下同勿言我為天主所誘、蓋天主不為惡所誘、亦不誘人、

如有人為誘惑所苦、勿曰為天主所誘；夫天主純善、不能被誘於惡、詎能誘人於惡？

When a person is tempted, they shouldn’t say,“ God is tempting me.” God can’t be tempted by evil. And he doesn’t tempt anyone.

The man said,“ The woman you put here with me— she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,

Why, Lord, do you make us wander from your ways and harden our hearts so we do not revere you? Return for the sake of your servants, the tribes that are your inheritance.

One of you will say to me:“ Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?”But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God?“ Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it,‘ Why did you make me like this?’”
