thus saith the Lord Jehovah, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.

因此主永恆主這麼說：這計謀必立不住，也不能實現；

但主耶和華如此說：「這事必立不住，也不會得逞，

主耶和華曰、此謀不立、不成、

然我耶和華云、此謀必不成、

主天主如是云、此謀必不立、必不成、

Yet this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“‘ It will not take place, it will not happen,

But I am the Lord and King. I say,“‘ “That will not happen. It will not take place.

thus says the Lord God:“‘ It shall not stand, and it shall not come to pass.

But this is what the Sovereign Lord says:“ This invasion will never happen; it will never take place;

This is what the Lord GOD says: It will not happen; it will not occur.

this is what the Lord God says:“ It shall not stand nor shall it come to pass.

thus says the Lord GOD:“ It shall not stand, Nor shall it come to pass.

This is what the Lord God says: It will not happen; it will not occur.

Thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.

For this reason the sovereign master, the LORD, says:“ It will not take place; it will not happen.

This is what the Lord Yahweh says:“ It shall not stand, neither shall it happen.”

Take counsel together, and it shall be brought to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.

who by the Holy Spirit, by the mouth of our father David thy servant, didst say, Why did the Gentiles rage, And the peoples imagine vain things?The kings of the earth set themselves in array, And the rulers were gathered together, Against the Lord, and against his Anointed:for of a truth in this city against thy holy Servant Jesus, whom thou didst anoint, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together,to do whatsoever thy hand and thy council foreordained to come to pass.

There is no wisdom nor understanding Nor counsel against Jehovah.

declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done; saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure;calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country; yea, I have spoken, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed, I will also do it.

Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?

Because of thy raging against me, and because thine arrogancy is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.

He that sitteth in the heavens will laugh: The Lord will have them in derision.Then will he speak unto them in his wrath, And vex them in his sore displeasure:Yet I have set my king Upon my holy hill of Zion.

and all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

The counsel of Jehovah standeth fast for ever, The thoughts of his heart to all generations.

I will send him against a profane nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy, and to cut off nations not a few.For he saith, Are not my princes all of them kings?Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus?As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria;shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?Wherefore it shall come to pass, that, when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: The residue of wrath shalt thou gird upon thee.
