“ Will I bring a baby to the point of birth and not deliver it?” says the LORD;“ or will I who deliver, close the womb?” says your God.

耶和华说：“我既使她临产，岂不使她生产呢？你的神说，我既使她生产，岂能使她闭胎不生呢？”

耶和华说：我使人临产，岂不让她生产呢？你的上帝说：我使人生产，难道还让她关闭不生吗？

耶和华说：我使人临产，岂不让她生产呢？你的神说：我使人生产，难道还让她关闭不生吗？

耶和华说：“我既使她临产，难道不让她分娩吗？”你的上帝说：“我既使她生产，难道封闭她的胎吗？

耶和华说：‘我既然使她临盆，又怎能不使她生产呢？’你的神说：‘我既然使她生产，又怎能使她闭胎不生呢？’

耶和华说：“我既然使她临盆，难道不使她生产吗？”你的神说：“我既然使她生产，难道会闭塞母胎吗？”

耶和華說：我既使她臨產，豈不使她生產呢？你的神說：我既使她生產，豈能使她閉胎不生呢？

耶和華說：我使人臨產，豈不讓她生產呢？你的上帝說：我使人生產，難道還讓她關閉不生嗎？

耶和華說：「我既然使她臨盆，難道不使她生產嗎？」你的神說：「我既然使她生產，難道會閉塞母胎嗎？」

耶和華曰、我既使坼副、豈不使之產乎、爾之上帝曰、我既使生育、豈閉其胚胎乎、

爾之上帝耶和華曰、我既使坼副、豈不使之產乎、我使萬物生育、何況選民乎。

主曰、我既使之臨產、豈不使之產子乎、爾天主曰、我既使之臨產、豈復禁胎不生乎、

Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?” says the Lord.“ Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery?” says your God.

Zion, would I bring you to the moment of birth and not let it happen?” says the Lord.“ Would I close up a mother’s body when it is time for her baby to be born?” says your God.

Shall I bring to the point of birth and not cause to bring forth?” says the Lord;“ shall I, who cause to bring forth, shut the womb?” says your God.

Would I ever bring this nation to the point of birth and then not deliver it?” asks the Lord.“ No! I would never keep this nation from being born,” says your God.

Shall I bring to the point of birth but not give delivery?” says the Lord.“ Or shall I who gives delivery shut the womb?” says your God.

Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?” says the Lord.“ Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?” says your God.

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith Jehovah: shall I that cause to bring forth shut the womb? saith thy God.

“ Will I bring a baby to the point of birth and not deliver it?” says the Lord;“ or will I who deliver, close the womb?” says your God.

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut[ the womb]? saith thy God.

“ Do I bring a baby to the birth opening and then not deliver it?” asks the LORD.“ Or do I bring a baby to the point of delivery and then hold it back?” asks your God.

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to be delivered?” says Yahweh.“ Shall I who cause to give birth shut the womb?” says your God.

They said to him,“ This is what Hezekiah says:‘ Today is a day of distress, rebuke, and disgrace. It is as if children have come to the point of birth, and there is no strength to deliver them.

Is anything impossible for the LORD? At the appointed time I will come back to you, and in about a year she will have a son.”
