They sit among the graves. They spend their nights talking to the spirits of the dead. They eat the meat of pigs. Their cooking pots hold soup that has‘ unclean’ meat in it.

耶和華說：「那些奉獻自己、潔淨自己的人一個接一個進園中祭拜假神，又吃豬肉、老鼠及其他可憎之物，他們必一同滅亡。

豬不潔淨，因為牠蹄子雖分瓣但不反芻。

「至於那些任意妄為、以行可憎之事為樂、宰牛就像殺人、獻羊羔就像打斷狗頸、獻穀物就像獻豬血、燒香就像頌讚偶像的人，

耶穌剛下船，就遇見一個被污鬼附身的人從墳場迎面而來。那人以墳場為家，從來沒有人能把他捆住，就算用鐵鏈也鎖不住他。儘管有人多次用鐵鏈和腳鐐鎖住他，但他掙斷了鐵鏈，砸碎了腳鐐。沒有人能制伏他。他晝夜在墳場和山野間大喊大叫，又用石頭砍自己。

耶穌到了對岸加大拉人的地方，有兩個被鬼附身的人從墳地裡出來見祂。他們非常凶惡，沒有人敢從那裡經過。

要把田中最好的初熟之物送到你們的上帝耶和華的殿中。不可用母山羊的奶煮牠的小羊羔。

「你們不可吃任何可憎之物。

我說：「唉，主耶和華啊！我從來沒有玷污過自己，我自幼至今從未吃過自然死去的或被野獸撕碎的動物，不潔淨的肉從未入過我的口。」

「要把田中最好的初熟之物送到你們的上帝耶和華的殿中。「不可用母山羊的奶煮牠的小羊羔。」

「你們不可吃死掉的動物，但可以送給或賣給住在你們城裡的外族人吃。因為你們屬於你們的上帝耶和華，是聖潔的民族。你們不可用母山羊的奶煮牠的羊羔。

人若在野外碰過被殺或自然死亡之人的屍體，或碰過死人的骸骨或墳墓，就七天不潔淨。要拿些除罪用的紅母牛灰，放在器皿裡，倒上清水，然後由潔淨的人拿牛膝草蘸這水灑在帳篷及裡面所有的人和器具上，也要灑在碰過骸骨、墳墓、被殺者屍體或自然死亡者屍體的人身上。要由潔淨的人在第三天和第七天把水灑在不潔淨的人身上。到第七天，接受潔淨禮的人要洗衣、沐浴，等到傍晚才能潔淨。若有人沾了污穢卻沒有用除穢水自潔，他就不潔淨，要將他從會眾中剷除，因為他玷污了耶和華的聖所。

你們也不可吃豬，因為豬雖蹄子分瓣但不反芻，是不潔淨的。你們不可吃這些動物的肉，也不可摸牠們的屍體。
