其所為者不徒勞、所生者不夭殤、蓋我耶和華降以純嘏、爰及子孫。

凡其所為者必不徒勞、所生子女必不夭亡、皆蒙我賜福之人、凡其所生者亦若是、凡其所生者亦若是或作凡其所生者與之同在

They will not labor in vain, nor will they bear children doomed to misfortune; for they will be a people blessed by the Lord, they and their descendants with them.

Their work will not be worthless anymore. They will not have children who are sure to face sudden terror. Instead, I will bless them. I will also bless their children after them.

They shall not labor in vain or bear children for calamity, for they shall be the offspring of the blessed of the Lord, and their descendants with them.

They will not work in vain, and their children will not be doomed to misfortune. For they are people blessed by the Lord, and their children, too, will be blessed.

They will not labor without success or bear children destined for disaster, for they will be a people blessed by the LORD along with their descendants.

But I said,“ I have labored in vain. I have spent my strength in vain for nothing; yet surely the justice due to me is with Yahweh, and my reward with my God.”

For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”

Then they will be my people, and I will be their God.I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their good, and the good of their children after them.

You shall be blessed in the city, and you shall be blessed in the field.You shall be blessed in the fruit of your body, the fruit of your ground, the fruit of your animals, the increase of your livestock, and the young of your flock.Your basket and your kneading trough shall be blessed.You shall be blessed when you come in, and you shall be blessed when you go out.Yahweh will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be struck before you. They will come out against you one way, and will flee before you seven ways.Yahweh will command the blessing on you in your barns, and in all that you put your hand to. He will bless you in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.Yahweh will establish you for a holy people to himself, as he has sworn to you, if you shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and walk in his ways.All the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by Yahweh’s name, and they will be afraid of you.Yahweh will grant you abundant prosperity in the fruit of your body, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give you.Yahweh will open to you his good treasure in the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You will lend to many nations, and you will not borrow.

Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which doesn’t satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in richness.

May Yahweh increase you more and more, you and your children.Blessed are you by Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.

I will signal for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them; and they will increase as they have increased.I will sow them among the peoples; and they will remember me in far countries; and they will live with their children, and will return.

Is the seed yet in the barn? Yes, the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree haven’t produced. From today I will bless you.’”

Neither, because they are Abraham’s offspring, are they all children. But,“ your offspring will be accounted as from Isaac.”That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as heirs.

“‘ If you walk in my statutes and keep my commandments, and do them,then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.Your threshing shall continue until the vintage, and the vintage shall continue until the sowing time. You shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.“‘ I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and no one will make you afraid. I will remove evil animals out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.You shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.“‘ I will have respect for you, make you fruitful, multiply you, and will establish my covenant with you.You shall eat old supplies long kept, and you shall move out the old because of the new.

I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your offspring after you.

I will make of you a great nation. I will bless you and make your name great. You will be a blessing.

If you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring and heirs according to promise.

You have sown much, and bring in little. You eat, but you don’t have enough. You drink, but you aren’t filled with drink. You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm, and he who earns wages earns wages to put them into a bag with holes in it.”

For this cause it is of faith, that it may be according to grace, to the end that the promise may be sure to all the offspring, not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.

You will carry much seed out into the field, and will gather little in, for the locust will consume it.You will plant vineyards and dress them, but you will neither drink of the wine, nor harvest, because worms will eat them.You will have olive trees throughout all your borders, but you won’t anoint yourself with the oil, for your olives will drop off.You will father sons and daughters, but they will not be yours, for they will go into captivity.Locusts will consume all of your trees and the fruit of your ground.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

You will eat the flesh of your sons, and you will eat the flesh of your daughters.

As for Ephraim, their glory will fly away like a bird. There will be no birth, no one with child, and no conception.Though they bring up their children, yet I will bereave them, so that not a man shall be left. Indeed, woe also to them when I depart from them!I have seen Ephraim, like Tyre, planted in a pleasant place; but Ephraim will bring out his children to the murderer.Give them— Yahweh what will you give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.

I will send the wild animals among you, which will rob you of your children, destroy your livestock, and make you few in number. Your roads will become desolate.

Your strength will be spent in vain; for your land won’t yield its increase, neither will the trees of the land yield their fruit.

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies,“ if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for.

You are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham,‘ All the families of the earth will be blessed through your offspring.’God, having raised up his servant Jesus, sent him to you first to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your wickedness.”
