我整天伸開着手招呼倔強悖逆的人民，就是隨自己的意圖行不善的路的；

我終日向悖逆的子民伸出我的手。他們隨著自己的意念行不善之道；

我終日舉手、招悖逆之民、彼行不軌、任意而為、

選民違逆、任意為非、我終日舉手勸迪。

行惡道、徇私意、悖逆之民、我終日舉手招之、

All day long I have held out my hands to an obstinate people, who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations—

All day long I have held out my hands to welcome a stubborn nation. They lead sinful lives. They go where their evil thoughts take them.

I spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, following their own devices;

All day long I opened my arms to a rebellious people. But they follow their own evil paths and their own crooked schemes.

I spread out my hands all day long to a rebellious people who walk in the path that is not good, following their own thoughts.

I have spread out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, Who walk in the way which is not good, following their own thoughts,

I have stretched out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, Who walk in a way that is not good, According to their own thoughts;

I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, that walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts;

I spread out My hands all day long to a rebellious people who walk in the wrong path, following their own thoughts.

I spread out my hands all day long to my rebellious people, who lived in a way that is morally unacceptable, and who did what they desired.

But about Israel he says,“ All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”

But they didn’t listen or turn their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

Because I have called, and you have refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no one has paid attention;

But my people didn’t listen to my voice. Israel desired none of me.So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.

Hear, heavens, and listen, earth; for Yahweh has spoken:“ I have nourished and brought up children and they have rebelled against me.

Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long will your evil thoughts lodge within you?

For I know your rebellion and your stiff neck. Behold, while I am yet alive with you today, you have been rebellious against Yahweh. How much more after my death?

At that time they will call Jerusalem‘ Yahweh’s Throne;’ and all the nations will be gathered to it, to Yahweh’s name, to Jerusalem. They will no longer walk after the stubbornness of their evil heart.

But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. Therefore he turned and became their enemy, and he himself fought against them.

Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was continually only evil.

It shall be to you for a fringe, that you may see it, and remember all Yahweh’s commandments, and do them; and that you don’t follow your own heart and your own eyes, after which you used to play the prostitute;

“ Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, like a hen gathers her own brood under her wings, and you refused!

“ But this people has a revolting and a rebellious heart. They have revolted and gone.

“ Either make the tree good, and its fruit good, or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt; for the tree is known by its fruit.You offspring of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

A man of violence entices his neighbor, and leads him in a way that is not good.

Remember, and don’t forget, how you provoked Yahweh your God to wrath in the wilderness. From the day that you left the land of Egypt until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against Yahweh.

For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies.

He said to me,“ Son of man, I send you to the children of Israel, to a nation of rebels who have rebelled against me. They and their fathers have transgressed against me even to this very day.The children are impudent and stiff- hearted. I am sending you to them, and you shall tell them,‘ This is what the Lord Yahweh says.’They, whether they will hear, or whether they will refuse, for they are a rebellious house, yet they will know that there has been a prophet among them.You, son of man, don’t be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you dwell among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.You shall speak my words to them, whether they will hear, or whether they will refuse; for they are most rebellious.

When he came near, he saw the city and wept over it,saying,“ If you, even you, had known today the things which belong to your peace! But now, they are hidden from your eyes.

and it happen, when he hears the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying,“ I shall have peace, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart,” to destroy the moist with the dry.

“ For I know their works and their thoughts. The time comes that I will gather all nations and languages, and they will come, and will see my glory.

He plots iniquity on his bed. He sets himself in a way that is not good. He doesn’t abhor evil.

But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust and enticed.Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin. The sin, when it is full grown, produces death.

Their feet run to evil, and they hurry to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity. Desolation and destruction are in their paths.They don’t know the way of peace; and there is no justice in their ways. They have made crooked paths for themselves; whoever goes in them doesn’t know peace.

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him, to our God, for he will freely pardon.

Your princes are rebellious and companions of thieves. Everyone loves bribes and follows after rewards. They don’t defend the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come to them.

“ You stiff- necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit! As your fathers did, so you do.Which of the prophets didn’t your fathers persecute? They killed those who foretold the coming of the Righteous One, of whom you have now become betrayers and murderers.

“ Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!

But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God;

who killed both the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and drove us out, and don’t please God, and are contrary to all men,forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they may be saved, to fill up their sins always. But wrath has come on them to the uttermost.
