「看哪！我要創造一個新天新地，先前的事不再被記念，也不再被想起；

「看啊，我要創造新天新地，過去的一切都要被遺忘，從記憶中消失。

“看哪！我要創造新天新地；先前的事不再被人記念，也不再湧上心頭了。

『因為看吧，我化造新的天新的地，先前的事不再被懷念了，不再回上心頭了。

我造新天新地、已往之事、不復記誌、不縈於懷、

我創造天地、煥然一新、昔所有者、不復記誌。

我造新天新地、昔所有者、不復記誌、不復戀之於心、

“ See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.

但照著他的應許，我們等候著一個新天新地，有公義居住在那裡。

耶和華宣告：「我所造的新天新地怎樣在我面前長存，你們的後裔和你們的名字也怎樣長存。」

接著，我看見一個新天新地，因為先前的天和先前的地都已經過去了，海也不再存在了。我也看見聖城新耶路撒冷，從神那裡、從天上降下來，已經被預備好了，就像為自己的丈夫裝飾整齊的新娘那樣。我又聽見有大聲音從寶座上傳來，說：「看哪，神的居所在人間，神將要與人一同居住。他們將要做他的子民，神將要親自與他們同在，做他們的神。神要從他們的眼中抹去一切淚水。將來不再有死亡，也不再有悲傷、哭泣或痛苦，因為先前的事已經過去了。」坐在寶座上的那一位說：「看哪，我正在更新一切！」他又說：「你當寫下，因為這些話是信實的、真實的。」

「你們不要記念先前的事，也不要顧念往昔的事。

我把我的話語放在你口中，用我手的蔭庇遮蓋你；我安置諸天，奠定大地的根基，並對錫安說：『你是我的子民。』」
