But now, Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter, And all of us are the work of Your hand.

耶和华啊，现在你仍是我们的父！我们是泥，你是窑匠；我们都是你手的工作。

如今呢、永恆主啊，你、仍是我們的父；我們是摶泥，你、乃是窰匠；我們都是你手所塑造的作品。

耶和華歟、爾乃我父、我乃泥塗、爾為陶人、我皆爾手所造、

耶和華與、爾乃我父、我若泥塗、爾若陶人、為爾甄造。

主歟、主仍為我父、我儕為泥、主為陶人、皆為主手所造、

Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.

Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay. You are the potter. Your hands made all of us.

But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.

And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.

Yet LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we all are the work of your hands.

But now, O Jehovah, thou art our Father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Yet, LORD, you are our father. We are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the product of your labor.

But now, Yahweh, you are our Father. We are the clay and you our potter. We all are the work of your hand.

You turn things around! Shall the potter be considered as equal with the clay, That what is made would say to its maker,“ He did not make me”; Or what is formed say to him who formed it,“ He has no understanding”?

“ Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will announce My words to you.”So I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something on the wheel.But the vessel that he was making of clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he remade it into another vessel, as it pleased the potter to make.Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying,“ Am I not able, house of Israel, to deal with you as this potter does?” declares the Lord.“ Behold, like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, house of Israel.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

“ Woe to the one who quarrels with his Maker— A piece of pottery among the other earthenware pottery pieces! Will the clay say to the potter,‘ What are you doing?’ Or the thing you are making say,‘ He has no hands’?

Know that the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

For You are our Father, though Abraham does not know us And Israel does not recognize us. You, Lord, are our Father, Our Redeemer from ancient times is Your name.

Everyone who is called by My name, And whom I have created for My glory, Whom I have formed, even whom I have made.”

The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Your faithfulness, Lord, is everlasting; Do not abandon the works of Your hands.

Your hands made me and fashioned me; Give me understanding, so that I may learn Your commandments.

“ Remember these things, Jacob, And Israel, for you are My servant; I have formed you, you are My servant, Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me.

This is what the Lord says, He who is your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb:“ I, the Lord, am the maker of all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself And spreading out the earth alone,

On the contrary, who are you, you foolish person, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder,“ Why did you make me like this,” will it?Or does the potter not have a right over the clay, to make from the same lump one object for honorable use, and another for common use?What if God, although willing to demonstrate His wrath and to make His power known, endured with great patience objects of wrath prepared for destruction?And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon objects of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory,namely us, whom He also called, not only from among Jews, but also from among Gentiles,

For you are all sons and daughters of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

‘ Your hands fashioned and made me altogether, Yet would You destroy me?Remember that You have made me as clay; Yet would You turn me into dust again?

Is this what you do to the Lord, You foolish and unwise people? Is He not your Father who has purchased you? He has made you and established you.

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s descendants, heirs according to promise.

Then you shall say to Pharaoh,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ Israel is My son, My firstborn.
