那使自己榮耀的膀臂在摩西的右邊行走，那在他們面前把水分開，為要建立永遠的名的，他在哪裡呢？

如果約書亞已經使他們享受了安息，神後來就不會再提到別的日子了。這樣看來，為了神的子民，必定另外有一個“安息日”的安息保留下來。因為那進入神安息的人，就歇了自己的工作，好像神歇了自己的工作一樣。所以，我們要竭力進入那安息，免得有人隨著那不順從的樣子就跌倒了。

耶和華使以色列人得享平安，不受四圍仇敵的騷擾，已經有一段很長的日子；約書亞已經老了，年紀不小了。

世上有哪一個國家像你的子民以色列呢？神曾親自救贖他們，使他們作自己的子民，又為他自己立名，為他們(按照《馬索拉文本》，「他們」作「你們」；現參照其他抄本及古譯本翻譯)作了大事，為你的地作了可畏的事；在你的子民面前，就是你從埃及救贖出來歸你自己的子民面前，趕出了列國的人和他們的神。

藉著我們這在基督裡首先有盼望的人，使他的榮耀得著頌讚。

但是，我指著我的永生起誓，全地要被耶和華的榮耀充滿。

“在至高之處，榮耀歸與神！在地上，平安歸與他所喜悅的人！”

好使他恩典的榮耀得著頌讚。這恩典是他在愛子裡賜給我們的。

現在耶和華你們的神，照著他應許的，已經使你們兄弟得享平安；現在你們可以返回自己家裡，回到耶和華的僕人摩西在約旦河東賜給你們作產業的地方去。

利未人耶書亞、甲篾、巴尼、哈沙尼、示利比、荷第雅、示巴尼和毘他希雅說：“你們要起立，稱頌耶和華你們的神，直到永永遠遠。”“耶和華啊，你榮耀的名是應當稱頌的；願你的名被尊崇，超過一切稱頌和讚美。

我們的神啊，現在我們要稱頌你，讚美你榮耀的名。
