And I will deal severely with all who have oppressed you. I will save the weak and helpless ones; I will bring together those who were chased away. Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven:“ The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.”

The Sovereign Lord will show his justice to the nations of the world. Everyone will praise him! His righteousness will be like a garden in early spring, with plants springing up everywhere.Because I love Zion, I will not keep still. Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem, I cannot remain silent. I will not stop praying for her until her righteousness shines like the dawn, and her salvation blazes like a burning torch.The nations will see your righteousness. World leaders will be blinded by your glory. And you will be given a new name by the Lord’s own mouth.The Lord will hold you in his hand for all to see— a splendid crown in the hand of God.

One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up.“ There was a judge in a certain city,” he said,“ who neither feared God nor cared about people.A widow of that city came to him repeatedly, saying,‘ Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself,‘ I don’t fear God or care about people,but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’”Then the Lord said,“ Learn a lesson from this unjust judge.Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?”

And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.
