因為我要把水澆灌乾渴之處，把河水澆灌乾旱之地；我必把我的靈澆灌你的後裔，把我的福降給你的子孫。

猶大家和以色列家啊！你們從前怎樣在萬國中成為可咒詛的，將來，我也要怎樣拯救你們，使你們成為祝福。你們不要懼怕，你們的手務要剛強。’

神先給你們興起他的僕人，差他來祝福你們，使你們各人回轉，離開邪惡。”

如果首先獻上的生麵是聖的，整團麵也是聖的；如果樹根是聖的，樹枝也是聖的。如果把幾根樹枝折下來，讓你這野橄欖可以接上去，一同分享那橄欖樹根的汁漿，你就不可向那些樹枝誇口。你若要誇口，就應當想想：不是你支持著樹根，而是樹根支持著你。那麼你會說，那些樹枝被折下來，就是要把我接上去。不錯，他們因為不信而被折下來，你因著信才站立得住。只是不可心高氣傲，倒要存畏懼的心。神既然不顧惜那本來的樹枝，也不會顧惜你。所以要留意神的恩慈和嚴厲：對跌倒的人，他是嚴厲的；對你，只要你繼續在他的恩慈裡，他是恩慈的；不然的話，你也會被砍下來。至於他們，如果不是繼續不信，他們仍然會被接上去，因為神能夠把他們再接上去。你這從野生的橄欖樹上砍下來的，尚且可以不自然地接在栽種的橄欖樹上，那些本來就有的樹枝，不是更能夠接在原來的橄欖樹上嗎？

願耶和華使你們增多，使你們和你們的子孫增多。

地上萬國都要因你的後裔得福，因為你聽從了我的話。’”

他們必不徒然勞碌，他們生孩子不再受驚嚇，因為他們都是蒙耶和華賜福的後裔，他們的子孫也跟他們一樣。

為我的同胞，就是我骨肉之親，就算自己受咒詛，與基督隔絕，我也甘心。他們是以色列人：嗣子的名分、榮耀、眾約、律法、敬拜的禮儀和各樣的應許，都是他們的。
