你喜爱公义，恨恶邪恶，所以，神，就是你的神，用喜乐的油膏抹你，胜过膏抹你的同伴。

然而你们是蒙拣选的族类，是君尊的祭司，是圣洁的国民，是属神的子民，为要叫你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

照样，你们的光也应当照在人前，让他们看见你们的好行为，又颂赞你们在天上的父。

照样，好树结好果子，坏树结坏果子；好树不能结坏果子，坏树也不能结好果子。凡是不结好果子的树，就被砍下来，丢在火中。

在我敌人面前，你为我摆设筵席；你用油膏了我的头，使我的杯满溢。

这些事以后，我观看，见有一大群人，没有人能数得过来，是从各邦国、各支派、各民族、各方言来的。他们都站在宝座和羊羔面前，身穿白袍，手里拿着棕树枝。他们大声呼喊，说：“愿救恩归给那坐在宝座上我们的神，也归给羊羔！”所有的天使都站在宝座、众长老和四个活物的四周。他们在宝座前，面伏在地上敬拜神，说：“阿们！愿颂赞、荣耀、智慧、感谢、尊贵、权能、力量，都归给我们的神，直到永永远远。阿们！”长老中有一位问我：“这些身穿白袍的是谁？他们是从哪里来的呢？”我对他说：“我主啊，你是知道的。”他告诉我：“这些人是从大患难中出来的。他们用羊羔的血，把自己的衣袍洗洁白了。

你的太阳必不再下落，你的月亮也必不退缩；因为耶和华要作你永远的光，你悲哀的日子必要终止。你的人民都必成为义人，永远得地为业；他们是我栽种的嫩芽，我手所作的工作，使我得荣耀。

义人必像棕树一样繁茂，像黎巴嫩的香柏树一样高耸。他们栽在耶和华的殿中，在我们神的院子里繁茂生长。他们年老的时候仍要结果子，经常保持茂盛青翠，好显明耶和华是正直的；他是我的磐石，在他里面没有不义。

靠着耶稣基督结满了公义的果子，使神得着荣耀和赞美。

我又从你身旁经过，见你已经到了谈情说爱的时候，我就用我的衣襟搭在你身上，遮盖你赤裸的身体；我又向你起誓，与你立约，于是你就属于我了。这是主耶和华的宣告。那时我用水洗你，洗净你身上的血，又用油抹你。我使你身穿刺绣的衣裳，脚穿海狗皮鞋；用细麻布给你裹头；又用丝绸给你披在身上。我用珠宝给你打扮，把手环戴在你手上，把项链戴在你颈上，又把鼻环戴在你鼻子上，把耳环戴在你耳朵上，把美丽的冠冕戴在你头上。这样你就有了金银的装饰，你穿的是细麻、丝绸和刺绣的衣服；你吃的是细面、蜂蜜和油；你实在非常美丽，配登王后的位。

你们要是为基督的名受辱骂，就有福了！因为神荣耀的灵，住在你们身上。

因为你们是用重价买来的。所以你们务要用自己的身体荣耀神。

我说：“你们要把洁净的冠冕戴在他的头上。”他们就把洁净的冠冕戴在他的头上，又给他穿上华美的衣服。那时，耶和华的使者正在旁边站着。

又有酒使人心欢喜，有油使人容光焕发，有粮加添人的心力。

末底改穿着紫蓝色和白色的朝服，戴着硕大的金冠冕，又披上紫色细麻布的外袍，从王面前出来；书珊城的人都欢呼快乐。

这样，你们结出很多果子，我父就因此得荣耀，你们也就是我的门徒了。

以这月的两日，为犹大人脱离仇敌，得享安宁的日子，是转忧为喜，转哀为乐的吉日，叫他们在这两日饮宴欢乐，大家互赠礼物，也周济穷人。

到那日，你必说：“耶和华啊！我要称谢你，因为你虽曾向我发怒，你的怒气却已转消，你又安慰了我。

你们要互相接待，不发怨言。你们要作神各样恩赐的好管家，各人照着所领受的恩赐彼此服事。讲道的，应当按着神的圣言讲；服事的，应当按着神所赐的力量服事，为要在一切事上，使神藉耶稣基督得荣耀。荣耀、权能都是他的，直到永永远远。阿们。

父亲却吩咐仆人说：‘快把那最好的袍子拿来给他穿，把戒指戴在他手上，把鞋穿在他脚上，

末底改知道了发生的一切事，就撕裂自己的衣服，披上麻衣，撒上灰尘，出到城中，大声痛哭地呼叫。他到了御门前，就停住，因为身穿麻衣的，不可以进御门。王的谕旨和命令传到的各省各地，犹大人都大大悲哀，禁食、哭泣、悲伤；许多人披上麻衣，躺在灰尘中。
