The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly.”

耶穌把另一個比喻擺在他們面前，說：『天國好像一粒芥菜種；人拿了，種在他的田地裏。這是比一切種子都小的；但長大時，卻比別的蔬菜都大，竟成了樹；甚至空中的飛鳥也來，棲息在它的枝子裏。

你們所需要的就是堅忍，使你們行完了上帝的旨意，就可以領受所應許的。

這些事以後我觀看，見有一大羣人，沒有人能數過來：從各邦國各族派各民族各種語言的人中間出來的；站在寶座和羔羊面前；披着白袍，手裏拿着棕樹枝。

上帝揀選的人晝夜向他喊救，他縱然在他們的事上延持着，難道總不給他們伸冤麼？

那些譏誚着說：『任他迅速些，任他趕快成就他的作為，讓我們看看！任以色列之聖者所計畫的臨近，任它到來，讓我們知道！』

信主的人越發增加，一羣一羣的人、不但有男的，也有女的。

於是領受他話的人都受了洗；那一天約加了三千人。

像以下這樣的事、誰曾聽見過呢？像以下這些事、誰曾看見過呢？一個國家哪能在一天之內就產出呢？一國的人哪能在一時之間就生下來呢？但錫安一絞痛，卻把兒女生下來了！

但親愛的、這一點你們可別忘了：在主看來，一日如千年，千年如一日。

當那些王在位的日子，天上的上帝必另立一國、永不被滅；其政權也不留歸別族的人；它卻要砸碎而消滅那一切國；它必存立到永遠；

於是鐵、瓦、銅、銀、金、都一同砸得粉碎，如同夏天禾場上的粃糠渣兒；風把它們颳散，原處便無可尋。但那擊碎這像的石頭卻變成了一座大山佔滿了全地。
