The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks along them will know peace.

They don’t know how to live at peace with others. What they do isn’t fair. They lead twisted lives. No one who lives like that will enjoy peace and rest.

The way of peace they do not know, and there is no justice in their paths; they have made their roads crooked; no one who treads on them knows peace.

They don’t know where to find peace or what it means to be just and good. They have mapped out crooked roads, and no one who follows them knows a moment’s peace.

光照那坐在黑暗中死蔭裡的人，引導我們的腳，走上平安的路。”

行為完全的，必蒙拯救；行事狡詐的，必立刻跌倒。

“你們去走遍耶路撒冷的街道，到處觀察留意，又在城的廣場上尋覓；如果能找到一個行正義、求誠實的人，我就赦免這城。

耶和華說：‘惡人沒有平安。’”

以色列人哪！你們要聽耶和華的話。耶和華要與這地的居民爭辯，因為在這地上沒有誠實，沒有慈愛，也沒有認識神的知識；只有起假誓、撒謊、殘殺、偷盜、姦淫、行強暴，以至流人血事件相繼而來。

他們的道路彎曲，他們的行徑偏離正道。

掌權者啊！你們真的講公義嗎（本句或譯：“你們默然不語，真的講公義嗎”）？你們真的按照正直審判世人嗎？不是的，你們心中策劃奸惡；你們的手在地上施行強暴（本句原文作“你們在地上稱出你們手中的強暴”）。

公平被迫後退，公義站在遠處；誠實在街上跌倒，正直不能進入。誠實缺乏，遠離惡事的人反成為掠物。耶和華看見了，就看這為惡事（“就看這為惡事”或譯：“很不喜悅”），因為一點公平也沒有。

“虛偽的經學家和法利賽人哪，你們有禍了！你們把薄荷、茴香、芹菜，獻上十分之一，卻忽略律法上更重要的，就如正義、憐憫和信實；這些更重要的是你們應當作的，但其他的也不可忽略。

和睦之道，他們不曉得，

至於那些偏行彎曲道路的人，耶和華必把他們和作惡的人一同除去。願平安歸於以色列。

因為萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列家，他喜悅的樹就是猶大人；他期望的是公平，但看到的只是流血的事；他期望的是公義，聽到的只是哀叫聲。

智慧的道路盡是歡悅，智慧的路徑全是平安。

那些在錫安平靜安逸的，安穩在撒瑪利亞山上的，有禍了！你們是這列國中為首之大國的領袖，是以色列家所歸向的。你們要過去甲尼看看，從那裡往哈馬大城去，然後下到非利士的迦特；看你們是否比這些國家勝一籌？他們的領土是否比你們的領土還大？你們認為災禍的日子離開很遠，你們的行為卻招致殘暴的審判。你們臥在象牙床上，躺在榻上；你們吃羊群中的羊羔，和牛棚裡的牛犢。你們閒逸地彈琴奏樂，又為自己製造樂器，像大衛一樣。你們用大碗喝酒，用最貴重的膏油抹身；但你們並沒有為約瑟的敗落而痛心。
