你們不知道平安之路，你們的行徑毫無公正；你們走歪門邪道，跟從你們的必得不到平安。

The way of peace they do not know; there is no justice in their paths. They have turned them into crooked roads; no one who walks along them will know peace.

They don’t know how to live at peace with others. What they do isn’t fair. They lead twisted lives. No one who lives like that will enjoy peace and rest.

They don’t know where to find peace or what it means to be just and good. They have mapped out crooked roads, and no one who follows them knows a moment’s peace.

耶和華說：「你們在耶路撒冷街頭四處看看，在廣場找找，如果你們能找到一個公正誠實的人，我就赦免這城。

耶和華說：「惡人得不到平安。」

以色列人啊，你們要留心聽耶和華的話。祂指控住在這片土地上的居民，說：「這片土地上的人不忠不信，毫無良善，不認識上帝。他們咒詛、撒謊、兇殺、偷竊、通姦，為所欲為，血案纍纍。

他們的道路歪邪，行徑扭曲。

你們做官長的主持公道嗎？你們的審判公正嗎？不，你們心中圖謀不義，你們在地上行兇作惡。

正義被趕逐，公義不能靠近，真理倒在街上，正直被拒之門外。真理無處可尋，遠離惡事的人反成了獵物。耶和華因正義蕩然無存而不悅。

「虛偽的律法教師和法利賽人啊，你們有禍了！你們把薄荷、茴香、芹菜獻上十分之一，卻忽略了律法中更重要的事——公正、憐憫、信實。後者是你們本該做的，前者也不可忽略。

平安之路，他們未曾知道；

耶和華必把那些偏行惡道的人與作惡的人一同趕走。願平安臨到以色列。

萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列，祂所喜愛的葡萄樹就是猶大人。祂希望看到公平，卻只看見殺戮；指望看到公義，卻只聽見冤聲。

她的路上有福樂，她的道上有平安。

在錫安生活安逸舒適的人啊，你們有禍了！在撒瑪利亞山上自覺無憂的人啊，你們有禍了！你們是列國之首以色列的顯要，以色列人都仰望你們。你們去甲尼看看，然後從那裡到哈瑪大城，再到非利士人的迦特看看。你們比這些國家更好嗎？他們的領土不比你們的更廣闊嗎？你們以為災難的日子離得還遠，就大肆施行暴政。你們躺在象牙床上，靠在臥榻上，你們吃養在圈裡的肥嫩牛羊。你們伴著琴聲唱慵懶的歌，像大衛一樣為自己製造樂器。你們以大碗狂飲，用上等膏油抹身，卻漠不關心約瑟家的衰亡。
