我與斯人所立之約、即我賦爾之神、傳爾之言、不離乎爾、及爾子孫之口、自今以迄永久、耶和華言之矣、

耶和華又曰、我必與斯人立約、我所賦爾之神、傳爾之言、口誦不輟、爰及子孫、歷世弗替、永世靡暨。

主曰、我所賦爾之神、所傳於爾口之言、必使之不離爾口、與爾子孫之口、及爾後裔之口、自今直至永遠、此我與斯民所立之約、此乃主所言、

“ And this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord.“ My Spirit will not leave them, and neither will these words I have given you. They will be on your lips and on the lips of your children and your children’s children forever. I, the Lord, have spoken!

“ As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the LORD:“ My Spirit who is on you, and my words that I have put in your mouth, will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouths of your children, or from the mouths of your children’s children, from now on and forever,” says the LORD.

“ As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord:“ My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the Lord,“ from now and forever.”

“ As for Me,” says the Lord,“ this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the Lord,“ from this time and forevermore.”

And as for me, this is my covenant with them, saith Jehovah: my Spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith Jehovah, from henceforth and for ever.

As for me, this[ is] my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that[ is] upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

“ As for me, this is my promise to them,” says the LORD.“ My spirit, who is upon you, and my words, which I have placed in your mouth, will not depart from your mouth or from the mouths of your children and descendants from this time forward,” says the LORD.

“ As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says Yahweh.“ My Spirit who is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your offspring, nor out of the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says Yahweh,“ from now on and forever.”

“ Look, the days are coming”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.This one will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt— a covenant they broke even though I had married them”— the Lord’s declaration.“ Instead, this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days”— the Lord’s declaration.“ I will put My teaching within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people.No longer will one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least to the greatest of them”— this is the Lord’s declaration.“ For I will forgive their wrongdoing and never again remember their sin.

This is the covenant I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws on their hearts and write them on their minds,

I will also sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your impurities and all your idols.I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.I will place My Spirit within you and cause you to follow My statutes and carefully observe My ordinances.

They will be My people, and I will be their God.I will give them one heart and one way so that for their good and for the good of their descendants after them, they will fear Me always.“ I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never turn away from doing good to them, and I will put fear of Me in their hearts so they will never again turn away from Me.I will take delight in them to do what is good for them, and with all My heart and mind I will faithfully plant them in this land.

But Jesus has now obtained a superior ministry, and to that degree He is the mediator of a better covenant, which has been legally enacted on better promises.For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion for a second one.But finding fault with His people, He says: Look, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—not like the covenant that I made with their ancestors on the day I took them by their hands to lead them out of the land of Egypt. I disregarded them, says the Lord, because they did not continue in My covenant.But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people.And each person will not teach his fellow citizen, and each his brother, saying,“ Know the Lord,” because they will all know Me, from the least to the greatest of them.For I will be merciful to their wrongdoing, and I will never again remember their sins.By saying, a new covenant, He has declared that the first is old. And what is old and aging is about to disappear.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.

I have put My words in your mouth, and covered you in the shadow of My hand, in order to plant the heavens, to found the earth, and to say to Zion,“ You are My people.”

For I will pour water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your descendants and My blessing on your offspring.

The Spirit of the Lord God is on Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners;to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, and the day of our God’s vengeance; to comfort all who mourn,to provide for those who mourn in Zion; to give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, festive oil instead of mourning, and splendid clothes instead of despair. And they will be called righteous trees, planted by the Lord to glorify Him.

But whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty again— ever! In fact, the water I will give him will become a well of water springing up within him for eternal life.”

Pay attention and come to Me; listen, so that you will live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the promises assured to David.

You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, since the Spirit of God lives in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.

Jesus answered them,“ My teaching isn’t Mine but is from the One who sent Me.If anyone wants to do His will, he will understand whether the teaching is from God or if I am speaking on My own.

For God sent Him, and He speaks God’s words, since He gives the Spirit without measure.

He said this about the Spirit. Those who believed in Jesus were going to receive the Spirit, for the Spirit had not yet been received because Jesus had not yet been glorified.

This is what the Lord says: I will answer you in a time of favor, and I will help you in the day of salvation. I will keep you, and I will appoint you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land, to make them possess the desolate inheritances,

Then a shoot will grow from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit.The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him— a Spirit of wisdom and understanding, a Spirit of counsel and strength, a Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.His delight will be in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what He sees with His eyes, He will not execute justice by what He hears with His ears,

“ They will live in the land that I gave to My servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They will live in it forever with their children and grandchildren, and My servant David will be their prince forever.I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant with them. I will establish and multiply them and will set My sanctuary among them forever.My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be My people.

“ So this is what the Lord God says: Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have compassion on the whole house of Israel, and I will be jealous for My holy name.They will feel remorse for their disgrace and all the unfaithfulness they committed against Me, when they live securely in their land with no one to frighten them.When I bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the countries of their enemies, I will demonstrate My holiness through them in the sight of many nations.They will know that I am Yahweh their God when I regather them to their own land after having exiled them among the nations. I will leave none of them behind.I will no longer hide My face from them, for I will pour out My Spirit on the house of Israel.” This is the declaration of the Lord God.

For I passed on to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the Twelve.Then He appeared to over 500 brothers at one time; most of them are still alive, but some have fallen asleep.Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles.Last of all, as to one abnormally born, He also appeared to me.For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.But by God’s grace I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not ineffective. However, I worked more than any of them, yet not I, but God’s grace that was with me.Therefore, whether it is I or they, so we proclaim and so you have believed.Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say,“ There is no resurrection of the dead”?But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised;and if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is without foundation, and so is your faith.In addition, we are found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified about God that He raised up Christ— whom He did not raise up if in fact the dead are not raised.For if the dead are not raised, Christ has not been raised.And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.Therefore, those who have fallen asleep in Christ have also perished.If we have put our hope in Christ for this life only, we should be pitied more than anyone.But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also comes through a man.For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; afterward, at His coming, those who belong to Christ.Then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when He abolishes all rule and all authority and power.For He must reign until He puts all His enemies under His feet.The last enemy to be abolished is death.For God has put everything under His feet. But when it says“ everything” is put under Him, it is obvious that He who puts everything under Him is the exception.And when everything is subject to Christ, then the Son Himself will also be subject to the One who subjected everything to Him, so that God may be all in all.Otherwise what will they do who are being baptized for the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, then why are people baptized for them?Why are we in danger every hour?I affirm by the pride in you that I have in Christ Jesus our Lord: I die every day!If I fought wild animals in Ephesus with only human hope, what good did that do me? If the dead are not raised, Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.Do not be deceived:“ Bad company corrupts good morals.”Come to your senses and stop sinning, for some people are ignorant about God. I say this to your shame.But someone will say,“ How are the dead raised? What kind of body will they have when they come?”Foolish one! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.And as for what you sow— you are not sowing the future body, but only a seed, perhaps of wheat or another grain.But God gives it a body as He wants, and to each of the seeds its own body.Not all flesh is the same flesh; there is one flesh for humans, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish.There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is different from that of the earthly ones.There is a splendor of the sun, another of the moon, and another of the stars; for one star differs from another star in splendor.So it is with the resurrection of the dead: Sown in corruption, raised in incorruption;sown in dishonor, raised in glory; sown in weakness, raised in power;sown a natural body, raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.So it is written: The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam became a life-giving Spirit.However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, then the spiritual.The first man was from the earth and made of dust; the second man is from heaven.Like the man made of dust, so are those who are made of dust; like the heavenly man, so are those who are heavenly.And just as we have borne the image of the man made of dust, we will also bear the image of the heavenly man.Brothers, I tell you this: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, and corruption cannot inherit incorruption.Listen! I am telling you a mystery: We will not all fall asleep, but we will all be changed,in a moment, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.For this corruptible must be clothed with incorruptibility, and this mortal must be clothed with immortality.When this corruptible is clothed with incorruptibility, and this mortal is clothed with immortality, then the saying that is written will take place: Death has been swallowed up in victory.Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!Therefore, my dear brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord’s work, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

I didn’t know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water told me,‘ The One you see the Spirit descending and resting on— He is the One who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’

how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?

I speak what I have seen in the presence of the Father; therefore, you do what you have heard from your father.”

because the words that You gave Me, I have given them. They have received them and have known for certain that I came from You. They have believed that You sent Me.
