But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

你們的罪孽使這些轉離你們，你們的罪惡使你們不能得福。

到了遭災的時候，這些人要哀求耶和華，他卻不應允他們。那時，因他們所行的惡，他必轉臉離開他們。

你們舉手禱告，我必遮眼不看，就算你們多多祈禱，我也不聽；你們的手沾滿了血。

耶和華遠離惡人，卻聽義人的祈禱。

列國也必知道，以色列家被擄掠是因他們的罪孽。他們得罪我，我就轉臉不顧他們，將他們交在敵人手中，使他們全都倒在刀下。我照他們的污穢和罪過待他們，轉臉不顧他們。

我不再轉臉不顧他們，因我已將我的靈澆灌以色列家。這是主耶和華說的。」

那時，我的怒氣必向他們發作，我必離棄他們，轉臉不顧他們，以致他們被吞滅，並有許多的禍患災難臨到他們。在那日，人必說：『這些禍患臨到我，豈不是因為我的神不在我中間嗎？』在那日，因人偏向別神所行的一切惡事，我必定轉臉不顧。

「耶和華看見了，因他兒女惹動他就拋棄他們，說：『我要轉臉離開他們，看他們的結局如何。他們是極乖謬的世代，是不忠實的兒女。

我因人貪婪的罪孽，發怒擊打他；我轉臉向他發怒，他卻仍隨意背道而行。

看哪，你們禁食，卻起紛爭興訟，以兇惡的拳頭打人。你們今日這種禁食無法使你們的聲音聽聞於高處。

以色列犯了罪，又違背了我所吩咐他們的約，又取了當滅之物。他們又偷竊，又行詭詐，又把那當滅的物與自己的器皿放在一起。

耶和華如此說：「我休了你們的母親，她的休書在哪裏呢？我將你們賣給了我哪一個債主呢？看哪，你們被賣是因你們的罪孽；你們的母親被休，是因你們的過犯。
