So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter.

So people stop others from doing what is fair. They keep them from doing what is right. No one tells the truth in court anymore. No one is honest there.

Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far away; for truth has stumbled in the public squares, and uprightness cannot enter.

Our courts oppose the righteous, and justice is nowhere to be found. Truth stumbles in the streets, and honesty has been outlawed.

就是先知说假预言，祭司藉他们把持权柄；我的百姓也喜爱这些事，到了结局你们怎样行呢？”

祸哉！那些设立不义之律例的和记录奸诈之判语的，为要屈枉穷乏人，夺去我民中困苦人的理，以寡妇当作掳物，以孤儿当作掠物。

笼内怎样满了雀鸟，他们的房中也照样充满诡诈；所以他们得成为大，而且富足。他们肥胖光润，作恶过甚，不为人伸冤！就是不为孤儿伸冤，不使他亨通，也不为穷人辨屈。”

说：“你们审判不秉公义，徇恶人的情面，要到几时呢？细拉你们当为贫寒的人和孤儿伸冤；当为困苦和穷乏的人施行公义。当保护贫寒和穷乏的人，救他们脱离恶人的手。”你们仍不知道，也不明白，在黑暗中走来走去；地的根基都摇动了。

他们因受贿赂，就称恶人为义，将义人的义夺去。

我又见日光之下，在审判之处有奸恶，在公义之处也有奸恶。

雅各家的首领、以色列家的官长啊，当听我的话！你们厌恶公平，在一切事上屈枉正直；以人血建立锡安，以罪孽建造耶路撒冷。首领为贿赂行审判；祭司为雇价施训诲；先知为银钱行占卜。他们却倚赖耶和华，说：“耶和华不是在我们中间吗？灾祸必不临到我们。”

可叹，忠信的城变为妓女！从前充满了公平，公义居在其中，现今却有凶手居住。

这悖逆、污秽、欺压的城有祸了！她不听从命令，不领受训诲，不倚靠耶和华，不亲近她的神。她中间的首领是咆哮的狮子；她的审判官是晚上的豺狼，一点食物也不留到早晨。

他们双手作恶；君王徇情面，审判官要贿赂；位分大的吐出恶意，都彼此结联行恶。他们最好的，不过是蒺藜；最正直的，不过是荆棘篱笆。你守望者说，降罚的日子已经来到。他们必扰乱不安。不要倚赖邻舍；不要信靠密友。要守住你的口；不要向你怀中的妻提说。

你们这使公平变为茵陈、将公义丢弃于地的，
