You went to Molek with olive oil and increased your perfumes. You sent your ambassadors far away; you descended to the very realm of the dead!

You took olive oil to the god named Molek. You took a lot of perfume along with you. You sent your messengers to places far away. You even sent them down to the place of the dead.

勿以爾之賞、見奪於人、彼以謙卑自稱、效天使崇拜、欲窺無形、私心自衒、

居恆之時、人以金予娼、惟爾以金贈於所懽、使四方咸歸、

亞哈士遣人至亞述王滴臘比利斯曰、我乃爾之子臣、亞蘭王及以色列王攻我、請爾至此、援我於其手。亞哈士以耶和華殿、及王宮府庫、所有之金銀、饋於亞述王。亞述王允所請、往攻大馬色、而陷其城、殺哩汛、虜其民人至吉。亞哈士王詣大馬色、而迓亞述王滴臘比利斯、在彼見祭壇、遂圖其壇之規模制度、遣人持至祭司烏哩亞所、祭司烏哩亞作壇、循亞哈士、自大馬色、所賚之圖而造、王未旋歸、壇已告成。

以法蓮族詭詐暴虐、日甚一日、與亞述人結約、貢油於埃及、猶之餐風而追東風、

以法蓮族無知、蠢然若鴿、或呼埃及人、或就亞述人望其扶持、

人往埃及、求其助己、見車馬眾多、驍騎勇猛、則以之是恃、不恃以色列族之聖主耶和華而求其眷祐、其禍必不遠矣、上帝至明、言出惟行、勃然以興、降災於惡人、凡助惡者、亦降罰焉、埃及之眾、人也、非上帝也、所乘之馬、凡馬也、非神馬也、耶和華舉手降罰、輔翼惡人者、皆顛其趾、為惡人所扶持者、咸遭傾覆、淪胥以亡、
