耶和華曰、口渴者當臨水濱、無金者當至此酤酒乳、市食物、無需價值。

On the last day of the feast, the greatest day, Jesus stood up and shouted out,“ If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me, andlet the one who believes in me drink. Just as the scripture says,‘ From within him will flow rivers of living water.’”

He also said to me,“ It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the one who is thirsty I will give water free of charge from the spring of the water of life.

For I will pour water on the parched ground and cause streams to flow on the dry land. I will pour my spirit on your offspring and my blessing on your children.

I spread my hands out to you in prayer; my soul thirsts for you in a parched land.

And the Spirit and the bride say,“ Come!” And let the one who hears say:“ Come!” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wants it take the water of life free of charge.

Jesus answered her,“ If you had known the gift of God and who it is who said to you,‘ Give me some water to drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”“ Sir,” the woman said to him,“ you have no bucket and the well is deep; where then do you get this living water?Surely you’re not greater than our ancestor Jacob, are you? For he gave us this well and drank from it himself, along with his sons and his livestock.”Jesus replied,“ Everyone who drinks some of this water will be thirsty again.But whoever drinks some of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again, but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.”

The oppressed and the poor look for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched from thirst. I, the LORD, will respond to their prayers; I, the God of Israel, will not abandon them.I will make streams flow down the slopes and produce springs in the middle of the valleys. I will turn the desert into a pool of water and the arid land into springs.

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life– water as clear as crystal– pouring out from the throne of God and of the Lamb,

On that day the mountains will drip with sweet wine, and the hills will flow with milk. All the dry stream beds of Judah will flow with water. A spring will flow out from the temple of the LORD, watering the Valley of Acacia Trees.

The Ephraimites will be like warriors and will rejoice as if they had drunk wine. Their children will see it and rejoice; they will celebrate in the things of the LORD.

We must pay money for our own water; we must buy our own wood at a steep price.
