此猶挪亞之洪水、昔我誓云、不復使洪水汎濫於地、今亦誓云、不復怒爾、不復責爾矣、

昔挪亞時、我矢之云、自後洪水、必不汎濫於天下、今也、我亦誓不怒爾責爾矣。

爾之景況、我譬諸挪亞洪水、彼時、我誓不復使挪亞洪水氾濫於地、今我亦誓、不復怒爾、不復責爾、

“ To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again.

“ During Noah’s time I made a promise. I said I would never cover the earth with water again. In the same way, I have promised not to be angry with you. I will never punish you again.

“ This is like the days of Noah to me: as I swore that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you, and will not rebuke you.

“ Just as I swore in the time of Noah that I would never again let a flood cover the earth, so now I swear that I will never again be angry and punish you.

“ For this is like the days of Noah to me: when I swore that the water of Noah would never flood the earth again, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you or rebuke you.

“ For this is like the days of Noah to Me, When I swore that the waters of Noah Would not flood the earth again; So I have sworn that I will not be angry with you Nor rebuke you.

“ For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; For as I have sworn That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, So have I sworn That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.

For this is as the waters of Noah unto me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah shall no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I will not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

“ For this is like the days of Noah to Me: when I swore that the waters of Noah would never flood the earth again, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you or rebuke you.

For this[ is as] the waters of Noah unto me: for[ as] I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

“ As far as I am concerned, this is like in Noah’s time, when I vowed that the waters of Noah’s flood would never again cover the earth. In the same way I have vowed that I will not be angry at you or shout at you.

“ For this is like the waters of Noah to me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah will no more go over the earth, so I have sworn that I will not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.

到那日，你必说：“耶和华啊！我要称谢你，因为你虽曾向我发怒，你的怒气却已转消，你又安慰了我。

耶和华闻了那馨香的气味，就心里说：“我必不再因人的缘故咒诅这地（因为人从小时开始心中所想的都是邪恶的）；我也必不再照着我作过的，击杀各样的活物。

从我的口所出的话也必这样，必不徒然返回我这里，却要作成我所喜悦的，使它在我差遣它去作的事上必然亨通。

那使太阳白昼发光，派定月亮和星辰照耀黑夜，又搅动海洋，使海浪澎湃的，万军之耶和华是他的名，他这样说：“这些定律若能从我面前废掉，以色列的后裔也就会在我面前断绝，永远不再成为一个国家。”这是耶和华的宣告。

我要与你们立约：凡有生命的必不再被洪水除灭，再没有洪水来毁灭大地了。”神说：“这就是我与你们，与一切跟你们同在有生命的活物所立之约的记号，直到万代；我把彩虹放在云彩中，作我与大地立约的记号。我使云彩遮盖大地时，彩虹出现云彩中，我就记念我与你们和一切有生命的活物所立的约：水不再成为洪水，来毁灭凡有生命的。彩虹在云彩中出现，我看见了就记念我与地上一切有生命的活物，所立的永约。”

“耶和华这样说：‘你们若能废掉我所立白昼和黑夜的约，使白昼和黑夜不按时更替，就能废掉我和我仆人大卫所立的约，使他没有儿子在他的王位上作王；也能废掉我和那些事奉我的利未支派的祭司所立的约。我却必使我仆人大卫的后裔和事奉我的利未人增多，像天上的万象不能数算、海边的沙粒不能斗量。’”耶和华的话临到耶利米，说：“你没有留意列国的人民说什么吗？他们说：‘耶和华所拣选的这两个家族，他已经弃绝了。’他们藐视我的子民，不再把他们看为一个国家。耶和华这样说：‘我若没有设立白昼和黑夜的约，或立定天地的定律，我就会弃绝雅各的后裔，和我仆人大卫的后裔，不从大卫的后裔中选人出来统治亚伯拉罕、以撒和雅各的后裔。我却必使他们被掳的人归回，也必怜悯他们。’”

你们必在我的筵席上吃饱马匹、骑兵、勇士和所有的战士。这是主耶和华的宣告。’

因为人起誓都是指着比自己大的起誓。这誓言就了结了他们中间的一切纠纷，作为保证。照样，神定意向那些承受应许的人，更清楚地表明他的旨意是不更改的，就用起誓作保证。这两件事是不能更改的，因为神是决不说谎的。因此，我们这些逃进避难所的人，就大得安慰，抓紧那摆在我们面前的盼望。

你定了界限，使众水不能越过；它们不再转回掩盖大地。
