你们从前好像迷路的羊，如今却归回你们灵魂的牧人和监督了。

因为基督也曾一次为罪受苦，就是义的代替不义的，为要引领你们到上帝面前。在肉体里，他被治死；但在灵里，他复活了。

我走迷了路如同失丧的羊，求你寻找你的仆人，因我不忘记你的命令。

耶稣被出卖，是为我们的过犯；他复活，是为使我们称义。

就如经上所记：“没有义人，连一个也没有。没有明白的，没有寻求上帝的。人人偏离正路，一同走向败坏。没有行善的，连一个也没有。他们的喉咙是敞开的坟墓；他们的舌头玩弄诡诈。他们的嘴唇里有毒蛇的毒液，满口是咒骂苦毒。他们的脚为杀人流血飞跑；他们的路留下毁坏和灾难。和平的路，他们不认识；他们眼中不怕上帝。”我们知道律法所说的话都是对律法之下的人说的，好塞住各人的口，使普世的人都伏在上帝的审判之下。

这人该知道，使一个罪人从迷途中回转，会从死亡中把他的灵魂救回来，而且遮盖许多的罪。

这些狗贪食，不知饱足。这些牧人不知明辨，他们都偏行己路，人人追求自己的利益。

耶稣就用比喻对他们说：“你们中间谁有一百只羊，失去其中的一只，不把这九十九只留在旷野，去找那失去的羊，直到找着呢？找到了，他就欢欢喜喜地把羊扛在肩上。他回到家里，请朋友和邻舍来，对他们说：‘你们和我一同欢喜吧，我失去的羊已经找到了！’我告诉你们，一个罪人悔改，在天上也要这样为他欢喜，比为九十九个不用悔改的义人欢喜还大呢！”

恶人当离弃自己的道路，不义的人应除掉自己的意念。归向耶和华，耶和华就必怜悯他；当归向我们的上帝，因为他必广行赦免。

耶和华的旨意要压伤他，使他受苦。当他的生命作为赎罪祭时，他必看见后裔，他的年日必然长久。耶和华所喜悦的事，必在他手中亨通。

“一个人若有一百只羊，其中一只走迷了路，你们的意见如何？他岂不留下这九十九只在山上，去找那只迷路的羊吗？若是找到了，我实在告诉你们，他为这一只羊欢喜，比为那没有迷路的九十九只欢喜还大呢！你们在天上的父也是这样，不愿意失去这些小子中的一个。”

无故恨我的，比我的头发还多；无理与我为仇、要把我剪除的，甚为强盛。我没有抢夺，他们竟然要我偿还！

我何时指着恶人说：‘他必要死’；你若不警戒他，也不劝告他，使他离开恶行，拯救他的性命，这恶人必死在罪孽之中；我却要从你手里讨他的血债。
