For this is what the LORD says:“ You were sold for nothing, and you will not be redeemed for money.”

耶和华如此说：“你们是无价被卖的，也必无银被赎。

耶和华说：“你们被卖未得分文，你们被赎回也不需分文。”

耶和华这样说：“你们被卖是毫无代价的，你们被赎回也必不用银子。”

因为耶和华如此说：“你们被卖既是无偿的，你们被赎也不用银钱。”

For this is what the Lord says:“ You were sold for nothing, and without money you will be redeemed.”

The Lord says,“ When you were sold as slaves, no one paid anything for you. Now no one will pay any money to set you free.”

For thus says the Lord:“ You were sold for nothing, and you shall be redeemed without money.”

For this is what the Lord says:“ When I sold you into exile, I received no payment. Now I can redeem you without having to pay for you.”

For this is what the LORD says:“ You were sold for nothing, and you will be redeemed without silver.”

For thus says the Lord:“ You have sold yourselves for nothing, And you shall be redeemed without money.”

For thus saith Jehovah, Ye were sold for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.

You know that from your empty way of life inherited from your ancestors you were ransomed– not by perishable things like silver or gold,

This is what the LORD says:“ Where is your mother’s divorce certificate by which I divorced her? Or to which of my creditors did I sell you? Look, you were sold because of your sins; because of your rebellious acts I divorced your mother.

I will give away your wealth and your treasures as plunder. I will give it away free of charge for the sins you have committed throughout your land.

For we know that the law is spiritual– but I am unspiritual, sold into slavery to sin.For I don’t understand what I am doing. For I do not do what I want– instead, I do what I hate.But if I do what I don’t want, I agree that the law is good.But now it is no longer me doing it, but sin that lives in me.For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh. For I want to do the good, but I cannot do it.For I do not do the good I want, but I do the very evil I do not want!Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer me doing it but sin that lives in me.So, I find the law that when I want to do good, evil is present with me.For I delight in the law of God in my inner being.But I see a different law in my members waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that is in my members.Wretched man that I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.
