後必洗滌列邦、君王必因之緘口無詞、蓋素未述於彼者、彼將見之、彼素未聞者、彼將悟之、

so he will sprinkle many nations, and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand.

But many nations will be surprised when they see what he has done. Kings will be so amazed that they will not be able to say anything. They will understand things they were never told. They will know the meaning of things they never heard.”

his form was so marred he no longer looked human– so now he will startle many nations. Kings will be shocked by his exaltation, for they will witness something unannounced to them, and they will understand something they had not heard about.

救贖主－以色列的聖者耶和華對那被人藐視、本國憎惡、統治者奴役的如此說：「君王看見就站起來，領袖也要下拜；這都是因信實的耶和華，因揀選你的以色列的聖者。」

看哪，你要召集素不認識的國民，素不認識的國民要奔向你；這都因耶和華－你的上帝，因以色列的聖者已經榮耀了你。

因着信，他設立逾越節，在門上灑血，免得那毀滅者加害以色列人的長子。

我必灑清水在你們身上，你們就潔淨了。我要潔淨你們，使你們脫離一切的污穢，棄絕一切的偶像。

並新約的中保耶穌，以及所灑的血；這血所說的信息比亞伯的血所說的更美。

列王必作你的養父，王后必作你的乳母。他們必以臉伏地，向你下拜，並舔你腳上的塵土。你就知道我是耶和華，等候我的必不致羞愧。」

這樣，我立了志向，不在基督的名已經傳揚過的地方傳福音，免得建造在別人的根基上；卻如經上所記：「未曾傳給他們的，他們必看見；未曾聽見過的事，他們要明白。」

所以，你們要去，使萬民作我的門徒，奉父、子、聖靈的名給他們施洗，

王子都停止說話，用手摀口；領袖靜默無聲，舌頭貼住上膛。

若山羊和公牛的血，以及母牛犢的灰，灑在不潔的人身上，尚且使人成聖，身體潔淨，何況基督的血，他藉着永遠的靈把自己無瑕疵地獻給上帝，更能洗淨我們的良心，除去致死的行為，好事奉那位永生的上帝。

就是照父上帝的預知，藉着聖靈得以成聖，以致順服耶穌基督，又蒙他血所灑的人。願恩惠、平安多多地賜給你們！

他既被高舉在上帝的右邊，又從父受了所應許的聖靈，就把你們所看見所聽見的，澆灌下來。

我的公義臨近，我的救恩發出。我的膀臂要審判萬民，眾海島都要等候我，倚賴我的膀臂。

這奧祕在以前的世代沒有讓人知道，像如今藉着聖靈向他的聖使徒和先知啟示一樣，就是外邦人在基督耶穌裏，藉着福音，得以同為後嗣，同為一體，同為蒙應許的人。我作了這福音的僕役，是照着上帝的恩賜，是照他運行的大能賜給我的。雖然我比眾聖徒中最小的還小，他還賜我這恩典，讓我把基督那測不透的豐富傳給外邦人，又使眾人都明白甚麼是歷代以來隱藏在創造萬物之上帝裏的奧祕，

凡血肉之軀都當在耶和華面前靜默無聲，因為他從他的聖所奮起了。

那麼，我們該用誠心和充足的信心，同已蒙潔淨、無虧的良心，和清水洗淨了的身體來親近上帝。

列國看見，雖大有勢力仍覺慚愧；他們必用手摀口，掩耳不聽。他們要舔土如蛇，又如地上爬行的動物，戰戰兢兢離開他們的營寨；他們必畏懼耶和華－我們的上帝，也必因你而害怕。

你要這樣做來潔淨他們：要用潔淨的水彈在他們身上，又叫他們用剃刀剃刮全身，洗淨衣服，潔淨自己。

惟有上帝能照我所傳的福音和所講的耶穌基督，並照歷代以來隱藏的奧祕的啟示，堅固你們。這奧祕如今顯示出來，而且按着永生上帝的命令，藉眾先知的書指示萬民，使他們因信而順服。

「看哪，我是卑賤的！我用甚麼回答你呢？我只好用手摀住我的口。

他救了我們，並不是因我們自己所行的義，而是照他的憐憫，藉着重生的洗和聖靈的更新。聖靈就是上帝藉着我們的救主耶穌基督厚厚地澆灌在我們身上的，

住在曠野的必在他面前下拜，他的仇敵必要舔土。他施和海島的王要進貢，示巴和西巴的王要獻禮物。眾王都要叩拜他，萬國都要事奉他。
