so he will sprinkle many nations, and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand.

But many nations will be surprised when they see what he has done. Kings will be so amazed that they will not be able to say anything. They will understand things they were never told. They will know the meaning of things they never heard.”

因著信，他立了逾越節和灑血的禮，免得那毀滅長子的碰以色列人。

來到了耶穌面前——他是新約的中保；來到了所灑的血面前——這血比亞伯的血所述說的更美好。

君王們必作你兒女的撫養人，王后們必作你兒女的乳母；他們必臉伏於地，向你下拜，舔你腳上的塵土。那時，你就知道：我是耶和華，等候我的必不致蒙羞。」

這樣，我立定心志要在基督的名沒有被傳過的地方傳福音，免得建造在別人的根基上，正如經上所記：「沒有聽說過他的人，將要看見；沒有聽見過的人，將要領悟。」

所以你們要去，使萬民成為我的門徒；奉父、子、聖靈的名給他們施洗；

實際上，如果山羊和公牛的血，以及母牛犢的灰，灑在那些汙穢的人身上，能使他們分別為聖、肉身潔淨，更何況基督的血呢！基督藉著永恆的聖靈，將自己毫無瑕疵地獻給神，他的血難道不能潔淨我們的良心脫離致死的行為，使我們事奉永生的神嗎？

就是按照父神的預知，藉著聖靈分別為聖，以致順從耶穌基督，又蒙他寶血所灑的人：願恩典與平安多多地加給你們！

他被高舉在神的右邊，從父領受了所應許的聖靈，就將聖靈傾注了下來。這正是你們現在所看見所聽見的。

我的公義臨近了，我的救恩已經發出，我的膀臂必審判萬民。眾海島都等候我，期盼我的膀臂。

這奧祕在別的各世代並不顯明給人類，不像如今藉著聖靈啟示給了他的聖使徒和先知們。這奧祕就是：外邦人在基督耶穌裡，藉著福音，成為共同的繼承人，同屬一體、同蒙應許。我成了這福音的僕人，是照著神恩典的賞賜；這賞賜是照著他大能的作為賜給我的。我在所有聖徒中，比最小的還小，但被賜予了這恩典，是為了把基督那無法測度的豐盛傳給外邦人；並且使所有的人都明白這奧祕的計劃到底是什麼，這奧祕自古以來被隱藏在創造萬有的神裡面，

一切有血肉的都當在耶和華面前肅靜！因為他從自己聖潔的居所奮起了。

既然我們的心被血灑過，脫離了罪惡感，身體也被清水洗淨了，就讓我們懷著真誠的心，以確信不移的信仰近前來；

願榮耀歸於神——他能藉著我的福音和有關耶穌基督的傳道，藉著奧祕的啟示堅固你們。這奧祕亙古以來是隱藏的，然而如今已經得以顯現；並且按照永恆神的命令，藉著先知們的經文顯明了出來。這是為要在萬民中帶來信仰上的順從——

他拯救了我們；這不是本於我們所做的義行，而是照著他的憐憫，藉著重生的洗滌和聖靈的更新。神藉著我們的救主耶穌基督，將聖靈豐豐富富地傾注在我們身上，

曠野的走獸將在他面前屈身，他的仇敵將舔食塵土。塔爾施和眾海島的君王們將帶來貢物，示巴和西拔的君王們將獻上禮物。所有的君王都要向他下拜，所有的國家都要服事他。
