諳悉公義、服膺我法之民、尚其聽予、勿畏人侮、勿懼人毀、

諳悉仁義、服膺我法者、宜聽我言、人侮慢爾、爾勿畏葸。

悅義而心存我法之人、當聽我言、毋畏人之譏誚、毋因人之毀謗而喪膽、

“ Hear me, you who know what is right, you people who have taken my instruction to heart: Do not fear the reproach of mere mortals or be terrified by their insults.

“ Listen to me, you who know what is right. Pay attention, you who have taken my instruction to heart. Do not be afraid when mere human beings make fun of you. Do not be terrified when they laugh at you.

“ Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear not the reproach of man, nor be dismayed at their revilings.

“ Listen to me, you who know right from wrong, you who cherish my law in your hearts. Do not be afraid of people’s scorn, nor fear their insults.

Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my instruction: do not fear disgrace by men, and do not be shattered by their taunts.

Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, A people in whose heart is My Law; Do not fear the taunting of people, Nor be terrified of their abuses.

神的律法在他心里，他的步履不会摇摆。

“当人们因我的缘故责骂你们、逼迫你们、用各种捏造出来的恶事毁谤你们的时候，你们就是蒙福的。

“你们这些追求公义、寻求耶和华的人哪，要听我的话！你们要仰望那磐石，你们是从其上凿出来的；你们要仰望那岩穴，你们是从其中挖出来的。

你们不要怕那些能杀死身体却不能杀死灵魂的；反而倒要惧怕那位能把灵魂和身体都毁灭在地狱里的。

你们如果因基督的名受责骂，就是蒙福的，因为荣耀的灵，就是神的灵，住在你们身上。

这样使徒们就快快乐乐地离开了议会，因为算是配得上为这名受凌辱。

不但如此，我甚至把一切都看做是损失，因为我把认识我主基督耶稣看为是至高无上的。我为基督耶稣损失了一切，而且把一切都看做是粪土，为要赢得基督，

并且为要认识基督和他复活的大能，要在他的苦难里相契合，效法他的死，

事实上，神拯救万民的恩典已经显明出来了。这恩典管教我们，使我们拒绝不敬神的事和地上的欲望，在今世能过自制、公义、敬神的生活，

如今在这些事上，因你们不与他们一起跑进那同样放荡的洪流中，他们就感到奇怪，毁谤你们。

当人们因人子的缘故憎恨你们，排斥你们，责骂你们，把你们当做恶人革除你们的名，你们就是蒙福的。

我的神哪，我喜爱遵行你的旨意！你的律法在我的心里。”

因为很明显，你们是基督的书信，由我们所经手；不是用墨写的，而是用永生神的灵写的；不是刻在石版上，而是刻在人的心版上。

“主说：‘在那些日子以后，我要与他们订立这样的约：我要把我的法则放在他们的心上，刻在他们的意念中。’”

“我的朋友，我告诉你们：不要怕那些杀了身体以后不能再做什么的人。我要指示你们该惧怕的是谁：你们当惧怕那杀了身体以后，又有权把人扔进地狱的那一位。是的，我告诉你们：当惧怕这一位。
