天上的萬象都必消殘；天也像書卷一般被捲起，所有星宿也必衰殘，像葡萄樹的葉子衰殘一樣，又像無花果樹的葉子凋落一樣。

你起初立了地的根基；天也是你手的工作。天地都要毀滅，你卻長存；天地都要像衣服一樣漸漸殘舊；你要更換天地如同更換衣物一樣，天地就被更換。

天地都要過去，但我的話決不會廢去。

羊羔揭開了第六個印的時候，我觀看，大地震就發生了。太陽變黑，像粗糙的黑毛布；整個月亮變紅，像血一樣；天上的星辰墜落在地上，像無花果樹被大風搖動，落下還沒有成熟的果子。天隱退了，像書被捲起來一樣；山嶺和海島都從原處移去了。

又說：“主啊！你起初立了地的根基，天也是你手的工作。天地都要毀滅，你卻長存；天地都要像衣服一樣漸漸殘舊，你要把天地像外套一樣捲起來，天地就像衣服一樣被更換；只有你永不改變，你的年數也沒有窮盡。”

但主的日子必要像賊一樣來到。在那日，天必轟然一聲地消失，所有元素都因烈火而融化；地和地上所有的，都要被燒毀（“被燒毀”有不少古抄本作“被發現”）。這一切既然都要這樣融化，你們應當怎樣為人，過著聖潔和敬虔的生活，等候並催促神的日子降臨呢？因為在那日，天要被火焚燒就融化了，所有元素都因烈火而融解！

因為蛀蟲必吃他們，像吃衣服一樣；蟲子必吃他們，像吃羊羢一樣。但我的公義永遠長存。我的拯救直到萬代。

使所有信他的人都得永生。“神愛世人，甚至把他的獨生子賜給他們，叫一切信他的，不至滅亡，反得永生。

我又看見一個白色的大寶座，和坐在上面的那位。天地都從他面前逃避，再也看不見了。

在萬軍之耶和華發怒的時候，就是我大發烈怒的日子，我要使天震動，大地必搖撼，離開本位。

我的羊聽我的聲音，我也認識他們，他們也跟隨我。我賜給他們永生，他們永不滅亡，誰也不能把他們從我手裡奪去。那位把羊群賜給我的父比一切都大，也沒有人能把他們從我父的手裡奪去。

又恐怕你抬頭望天，看見日、月、星，就是天上萬象的時候，就被勾引，去敬拜和事奉它們，那原是耶和華你們的神分給天下萬民享用的。

你們向天舉目吧！看是誰創造了這些萬象？是誰按著數目把萬象領出來，一一指名呼喚？因他的大能大力，連一個也不缺少。

我觀看你手所造的天，和你所安放的月亮和星星。啊！人算甚麼，你竟記念他？世人算甚麼，你竟眷顧他？

因此，他作了新約的中保，藉著他的死，使人在前約之下的過犯得到救贖，就叫那些蒙召的人，得著永遠基業的應許。

唯有以色列必靠著耶和華得救，得著永遠的拯救；你們必不蒙羞，也不受辱，直到永遠。

“為你的同胞和你的聖城，已經定了七十個七，要結束過犯，終止罪惡，遮蓋罪孽，引進永義，封住異象和預言，並且膏抹至聖所（“至聖所”或譯：“至聖者”）。

看哪！主耶和華幫助我，誰能定我有罪呢？看哪！他們都要像衣服漸漸破舊，蛀蟲必把他們吃光。

他不是用山羊和牛犢的血，而是用自己的血，只一次進了至聖所，就得到了永遠的救贖。

願我們的主耶穌基督自己，和那愛我們、開恩把永遠的安慰和美好的盼望賜給我們的父神，

我實實在在告訴你們，那聽見我的話又信那差我來的，就有永生，不被定罪，而是已經出死入生了。

但從亙古到永遠，耶和華的慈愛臨到敬畏他的人；他的公義也歸於他們的子子孫孫，

他既然順從到底（“他既然順從到底”或譯：“他既然達到完全”），就成了所有順從他的人得到永遠救恩的根源；
