你们要仰观天空，俯视大地；因为诸天必像烟云消散，大地要像衣服渐渐破旧；其上的居民必像蠓虫死亡（“必像蠓虫死亡”或译：“必要这样死去”），但我的拯救却永远长存，我的公义也不会废去。

天上的万象都必消残；天也像书卷一般被卷起，所有星宿也必衰残，像葡萄树的叶子衰残一样，又像无花果树的叶子凋落一样。

你起初立了地的根基；天也是你手的工作。天地都要毁灭，你却长存；天地都要像衣服一样渐渐残旧；你要更换天地如同更换衣物一样，天地就被更换。

天地都要过去，但我的话决不会废去。

羊羔揭开了第六个印的时候，我观看，大地震就发生了。太阳变黑，像粗糙的黑毛布；整个月亮变红，像血一样；天上的星辰坠落在地上，像无花果树被大风摇动，落下还没有成熟的果子。天隐退了，像书被卷起来一样；山岭和海岛都从原处移去了。

又说：“主啊！你起初立了地的根基，天也是你手的工作。天地都要毁灭，你却长存；天地都要像衣服一样渐渐残旧，你要把天地像外套一样卷起来，天地就像衣服一样被更换；只有你永不改变，你的年数也没有穷尽。”

但主的日子必要像贼一样来到。在那日，天必轰然一声地消失，所有元素都因烈火而融化；地和地上所有的，都要被烧毁（“被烧毁”有不少古抄本作“被发现”）。这一切既然都要这样融化，你们应当怎样为人，过着圣洁和敬虔的生活，等候并催促神的日子降临呢？因为在那日，天要被火焚烧就融化了，所有元素都因烈火而融解！

因为蛀虫必吃他们，像吃衣服一样；虫子必吃他们，像吃羊羢一样。但我的公义永远长存。我的拯救直到万代。

使所有信他的人都得永生。“神爱世人，甚至把他的独生子赐给他们，叫一切信他的，不至灭亡，反得永生。

我又看见一个白色的大宝座，和坐在上面的那位。天地都从他面前逃避，再也看不见了。

在万军之耶和华发怒的时候，就是我大发烈怒的日子，我要使天震动，大地必摇撼，离开本位。

我的羊听我的声音，我也认识他们，他们也跟随我。我赐给他们永生，他们永不灭亡，谁也不能把他们从我手里夺去。那位把羊群赐给我的父比一切都大，也没有人能把他们从我父的手里夺去。

又恐怕你抬头望天，看见日、月、星，就是天上万象的时候，就被勾引，去敬拜和事奉它们，那原是耶和华你们的神分给天下万民享用的。

你们向天举目吧！看是谁创造了这些万象？是谁按着数目把万象领出来，一一指名呼唤？因他的大能大力，连一个也不缺少。

我观看你手所造的天，和你所安放的月亮和星星。啊！人算什么，你竟记念他？世人算什么，你竟眷顾他？

因此，他作了新约的中保，藉着他的死，使人在前约之下的过犯得到救赎，就叫那些蒙召的人，得着永远基业的应许。

唯有以色列必靠着耶和华得救，得着永远的拯救；你们必不蒙羞，也不受辱，直到永远。

“为你的同胞和你的圣城，已经定了七十个七，要结束过犯，终止罪恶，遮盖罪孽，引进永义，封住异象和预言，并且膏抹至圣所（“至圣所”或译：“至圣者”）。

看哪！主耶和华帮助我，谁能定我有罪呢？看哪！他们都要像衣服渐渐破旧，蛀虫必把他们吃光。

他不是用山羊和牛犊的血，而是用自己的血，只一次进了至圣所，就得到了永远的救赎。

愿我们的主耶稣基督自己，和那爱我们、开恩把永远的安慰和美好的盼望赐给我们的父神，

我实实在在告诉你们，那听见我的话又信那差我来的，就有永生，不被定罪，而是已经出死入生了。

但从亘古到永远，耶和华的慈爱临到敬畏他的人；他的公义也归于他们的子子孙孙，

他既然顺从到底（“他既然顺从到底”或译：“他既然达到完全”），就成了所有顺从他的人得到永远救恩的根源；
