“ Listen to me, my people. Hear me, Israel, for my law will be proclaimed, and my justice will become a light to the nations.

我的人民哪，留心聽我吧！我的國民哪，側耳聽我吧！因為必有指教從我而出，我必立定我的公理做萬族之民的光。

「我的子民哪，要留心聽我的話！我的國民啊，要側耳聽我說！因為律法必從我而出，我必使我的公正立定作萬民之光；

我民歟、尚其注意、我國歟、尚其傾耳、蓋有法律將自我出、我必立我公義、以為兆民之光、

我之選民、宜聽我言、余必施我法度、立我律例、燭照庶民。

我民歟、宜聽我言、我國歟、宜傾耳向我、蓋律法必自我而出、我必堅定我法度為萬邦之光、

“ Listen to me, my people; hear me, my nation: Instruction will go out from me; my justice will become a light to the nations.

“ Give attention to me, my people, and give ear to me, my nation; for a law will go out from me, and I will set my justice for a light to the peoples.

“ Pay attention to Me, My people, And listen to Me, My nation; For a law will go out from Me, And I will bring My justice as a light of the peoples.

“ Listen to Me, My people; And give ear to Me, O My nation: For law will proceed from Me, And I will make My justice rest As a light of the peoples.

Attend unto me, O my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall go forth from me, and I will establish my justice for a light of the peoples.

Pay attention to Me, My people, and listen to Me, My nation; for instruction will come from Me, and My justice for a light to the nations. I will bring it about quickly.

Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.

Pay attention to me, my people! Listen to me, my people! For I will issue a decree, I will make my justice a light to the nations.

“ Listen to me, my people; and hear me, my nation, for a law will go out from me, and I will establish my justice for a light to the peoples.

“ I, the Lord, have called you to demonstrate my righteousness. I will take you by the hand and guard you, and I will give you to my people, Israel, as a symbol of my covenant with them. And you will be a light to guide the nations.

People from many nations will come and say,“ Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of Jacob’s God. There he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the Lord’s teaching will go out from Zion; his word will go out from Jerusalem.

When I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Jewish law, I too live apart from that law so I can bring them to Christ. But I do not ignore the law of God; I obey the law of Christ.

People from many nations will come and say,“ Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of Jacob’s God. There he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the Lord’s teaching will go out from Zion; his word will go out from Jerusalem.

He says,“ You will do more than restore the people of Israel to me. I will make you a light to the Gentiles, and you will bring my salvation to the ends of the earth.”

“ Look at my Servant, whom I have chosen. He is my Beloved, who pleases me. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.He will not fight or shout or raise his voice in public.He will not crush the weakest reed or put out a flickering candle. Finally he will cause justice to be victorious.

But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

And because you belong to him, the power of the life giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit.

He has not done this for any other nation; they do not know his regulations. Praise the Lord!

For their command is a lamp and their instruction a light; their corrective discipline is the way to life.

And you will be my kingdom of priests, my holy nation.’ This is the message you must give to the people of Israel.”

O my people, listen to my instructions. Open your ears to what I am saying,

“ Look at my servant, whom I strengthen. He is my chosen one, who pleases me. I have put my Spirit upon him. He will bring justice to the nations.He will not shout or raise his voice in public.He will not crush the weakest reed or put out a flickering candle. He will bring justice to all who have been wronged.He will not falter or lose heart until justice prevails throughout the earth. Even distant lands beyond the sea will wait for his instruction.”

If it is true that you look favorably on me, let me know your ways so I may understand you more fully and continue to enjoy your favor. And remember that this nation is your very own people.”

And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment.The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in me.Righteousness is available because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more.Judgment will come because the ruler of this world has already been judged.

What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance.

Open the gates to all who are righteous; allow the faithful to enter.

“ O my people, listen as I speak. Here are my charges against you, O Israel: I am God, your God!

Let me share in the prosperity of your chosen ones. Let me rejoice in the joy of your people; let me praise you with those who are your heritage.

He is a light to reveal God to the nations, and he is the glory of your people Israel!”
