难道你忘记了创造你、铺展穹苍、奠立大地根基的耶和华吗？难道因为试图毁灭你的欺压者大发怒气，你就整天惊恐不安吗？他们的怒气如今在哪里呢？

你忘记了造你的耶和华，就是那展开诸天，奠定大地的根基的；又因那欺压者准备行毁灭的时候所发的烈怒，你就终日不住惧怕呢？其实那欺压者的烈怒在哪里呢？

難道你忘記了創造你、鋪展穹蒼、奠立大地根基的耶和華嗎？難道因為試圖毀滅你的欺壓者大發怒氣，你就整天驚恐不安嗎？他們的怒氣如今在哪裡呢？

你忘記了造你的耶和華，就是那展開諸天，奠定大地的根基的；又因那欺壓者準備行毀滅的時候所發的烈怒，你就終日不住懼怕呢？其實那欺壓者的烈怒在哪裡呢？

你竟忘了那造了你、的永恆主，那展開諸天，奠定了大地的，而那窘迫人者準備要行毁滅時、你就終日懼怕他的烈怒呀！其實那窘迫人者的烈怒在哪裏呢？

而忘展布諸天、奠定地基、肇造爾之耶和華、終日因強暴者之怒而懼、以其圖滅爾、其怒安在、

我耶和華肇造爾邦、張舒穹蒼、奠定寰宇、爾何為忘予、恆畏強暴之人、恐其烈怒、滅爾邦家、然彼怒雖烈、焉能有為。

乃忘張天奠地造爾之主、強暴之人、預備殺戮之時、爾終日戰慄、畏其烈怒、究之強暴人之烈怒、果安在乎、

that you forget the Lord your Maker, who stretches out the heavens and who lays the foundations of the earth, that you live in constant terror every day because of the wrath of the oppressor, who is bent on destruction? For where is the wrath of the oppressor?

How can you forget me? I made you. I stretch out the heavens. I lay the foundations of the earth. Why are you terrified every day? Is it because those who are angry with you are crushing you? Is it because they are trying to destroy you? Their anger can’t harm you anymore.

and have forgotten the Lord, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth, and you fear continually all the day because of the wrath of the oppressor, when he sets himself to destroy? And where is the wrath of the oppressor?

Yet you have forgotten the Lord, your Creator, the one who stretched out the sky like a canopy and laid the foundations of the earth. Will you remain in constant dread of human oppressors? Will you continue to fear the anger of your enemies? Where is their fury and anger now? It is gone!

But you have forgotten the LORD, your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. You are in constant dread all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, who has set himself to destroy. But where is the fury of the oppressor?

and hast forgotten Jehovah thy Maker, that stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and fearest continually all the day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he maketh ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?

And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where[ is] the fury of the oppressor?

Why do you forget the LORD, who made you, who stretched out the sky and founded the earth? Why do you constantly tremble all day long at the anger of the oppressor, when he makes plans to destroy? Where is the anger of the oppressor?

Have you forgotten Yahweh your Maker, who stretched out the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth? Do you live in fear continually all day because of the fury of the oppressor, when he prepares to destroy? Where is the fury of the oppressor?

神坐在大地的圓穹之上，地上的居民好像蚱蜢。他展開諸天如幔子，鋪張穹蒼如居住的帳篷。

耶和華披戴光明如披衣裳，展開諸天如幔帳。

因為你忘記了那拯救你的神，不記念你避難的磐石。因此，你雖栽上佳美的秧子，種上外族的葡萄枝，

是我造了地，又在其上創造人；是我親手展開了諸天，又命定其中的萬象。

我親手奠定了大地的根基，我的右手展開了諸天；我一召喚它們，它們就一同立起。

他的妻子細利斯和他所有的朋友就對他說：「你讓人做一個高五十肘的木架，明天清晨請王吩咐人把末迪凱掛在其上；然後你就歡喜地與王一同去赴宴席吧！」這事在哈曼面前顯為好，他就讓人做了一個木架。

你愛公義，恨罪惡，為此，神——你的神用喜樂的油來膏立你，而不膏立你的同伴。」他又說：「主啊，你在起初立定了大地的根基，諸天也是你手所造的。天地將要毀滅，你卻繼續存留；天地都要像衣服那樣漸漸破舊。你將要把天地像外衣那樣捲起來，天地也要像衣服那樣被更換；你卻永不改變，你的歲月沒有窮盡。」

你究竟害怕誰、畏懼誰，以致說謊、不記念我，也不把我放在心上呢？難道我長久以來不是一直靜默嗎？難道你們因此就不敬畏我了嗎？

現在，你們一聽見號角、豎笛、里拉琴、弦琴、豎琴、風笛和各種樂器的聲音，如果準備向我所造的像俯伏膜拜，那就沒有事了；如果不膜拜，你們就立刻被扔進烈火燃燒的窯中。有什麼神能從我的手中拯救你們呢？」

希律發現自己受了博士們的愚弄，就十分惱怒。於是，他按照從博士們那裡所詢問到的時間，派人把伯利恆城裡和周圍各個地區內兩歲以下的男孩，全都殺了。這就應驗了藉著先知耶利米所說的話：「從拉瑪聽見了聲音，是哀哭和極其傷痛的聲音，是瑞秋為她的兒女哀哭，不肯接受安慰，因為他們不在了。」希律死了以後，在埃及，忽然主的一位天使在約瑟夢中顯現，說：「起來，帶著孩子和他的母親回以色列地去，因為那些追索這孩子性命的人已經死了。」

智慧人在哪裡？經文士在哪裡？這世代的雄辯家在哪裡？神難道不使這世界的智慧成了愚拙嗎？

神耶和華創造諸天，展開穹蒼，鋪張地和地所出的一切，又把氣息賜給地上的眾人，把靈賜給行在其中的人——神耶和華如此說：

你的救贖主耶和華——從你在母腹中就塑造了你，他如此說：「是我耶和華造了萬物，我獨自展開了諸天，我單獨鋪張了大地；

我曾看到惡人的強橫，像本地青翠的樹那樣蔓延；但他很快就消逝了，看哪，他不復存在！雖然我尋找他，卻找不到。

「凡這子民所稱為陰謀的，你們不要稱為陰謀；他們所怕的，你們不要害怕，也不要畏懼。萬軍之耶和華是你們要尊為聖的，他才是你們要怕的，也是你們要畏懼的。

尼布甲尼撒就怒火填膺，對沙德拉克、米沙克、亞伯尼哥變了臉色。他下令把窯燒熱，比平常更熱七倍；

於是人就把哈曼掛在他為末迪凱所預備的木架上。王的怒火這才平息了。

人的怒火，也會使你得稱讚；你也會以餘怒束腰。

你必從人間被趕出，你的住處必與田野的走獸在一起；你必像牛那樣吃牧草，讓七個時期從你流過，直到你明白：至高者在人的國中掌權，他願意把國賜給誰就賜給誰。」這話立刻就應驗在尼布甲尼撒身上；他從人間被趕出，像牛那樣吃牧草，身體被天上的露水濕透，直到他的頭髮長得像鷹的羽毛，指甲長得像鳥的爪子。

「那些看見你的都必注視你，他們要審視你，說：『那使大地顫抖，使列國震動的，難道就是這人嗎？那使世界如同荒野，傾覆其城鎮，又不釋放囚犯回家的，難道就是這人嗎？』

「死亡啊！你的勝利在哪裡？死亡啊！你的毒刺在哪裡？」

你的心回想那些恐怖的事，就說：「記數的人在哪裡？計量的人在哪裡？數點塔樓的人又在哪裡？」你再也看不見那粗蠻的民，他們言語晦澀，難於聽懂，舌頭結巴，難以理解。

他們過了關口，說：「我們要把迦巴當作宿營地！」於是拉瑪人戰兢，掃羅-基比亞人逃跑。迦琳的民哪，高聲呼喊吧！拉億和困苦的亞納圖啊，留心聽吧！瑪得米納逃亡，基柄的居民避難。就在那日，亞述人要在挪伯站住，揮手攻擊錫安城的山，就是耶路撒冷的岡陵。看哪！主萬軍之耶和華將以震撼之力削去樹枝；高聳的必被砍下，高大的必被伐倒；樹林中的密叢，他必用鐵器砍掉；黎巴嫩必因威嚴的那一位而倒下。

於是耶和華的使者出去，在亞述的營中擊殺了十八萬五千人；清早人們起來，看哪，所見的都是死屍！亞述王西納基立就拔營回去，住在尼尼微。有一天，西納基立在自己的神尼斯洛的廟裡下拜，他的兒子亞得米勒和沙利色用刀殺了他，然後逃到亞拉臘地。他的兒子以撒哈頓接替他作王。

他們上來布滿了寬闊的大地，包圍了聖徒的營地，就是那蒙愛的城。可是有火從天上降下來，吞滅了他們。

你在起初奠定了大地的根基，諸天也是你手所造的。天地將要消亡，你卻繼續存留；天地都要像衣服那樣漸漸破舊，你把它們像衣袍那樣更換，它們就消逝了；

如果他們真是想念自己所離開的地方，他們還有機會回去；

對他說：『你要謹慎，保持鎮靜，不要因亞蘭王利汛和利瑪利的兒子發烈怒而害怕，也不要因這兩個冒煙的火把殘頭而心裡膽怯。

仇敵被滅盡，敵國成為永久的廢墟；你把他們的城市拔出，連他們的名號也消亡了。耶和華卻永遠坐著為王，他早已為審判設立了寶座。

但那獸被抓了；那假先知也與牠一起被抓了——他在獸面前行了許多奇蹟，藉此迷惑那些接受獸的印記並膜拜獸像的人。獸和那假先知兩個都活生生地被丟進燃燒著硫磺的火湖裡。

讓那些被驅趕的摩押人寄居在你那裡，求你作他們的隱密處，使他們躲避毀滅者的面。」當欺壓者歸於無有，毀滅之事終止，踐踏人的從這地滅盡時，

主的一位天使立刻擊打希律，因為他沒有把榮耀歸給神。他被蟲咬蝕，就斷了氣。
