Woe to you who add house to house and join field to field till no space is left and you live alone in the land.

How terrible it will be for you who get too many houses! How terrible for you who get too many fields! Finally there won’t be any space left in the land. Then you will live all alone.

Woe to those who join house to house, who add field to field, until there is no more room, and you are made to dwell alone in the midst of the land.

What sorrow for you who buy up house after house and field after field, until everyone is evicted and you live alone in the land.

为本家积蓄不义之财、在高处搭窝、指望免灾的有祸了！你图谋剪除多国的民，犯了罪，使你的家蒙羞，自害己命。墙里的石头必呼叫；房内的栋梁必应声。以人血建城、以罪孽立邑的有祸了！

那行不义盖房、行不公造楼、白白使用人的手工不给工价的有祸了！他说：“我要为自己盖广大的房、宽敞的楼，为自己开窗户。这楼房的护墙板是香柏木的，楼房是丹色油漆的。”难道你作王是在乎造香柏木楼房争胜吗？你的父亲岂不是也吃也喝、也施行公平和公义吗？那时他得了福乐。他为困苦和穷乏人伸冤，那时就得了福乐。认识我不在乎此吗？这是耶和华说的。惟有你的眼和你的心专顾贪婪，流无辜人的血，行欺压和强暴。

亚哈听见拿伯死了，就起来，下去要得耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄园。耶和华的话临到提斯比人以利亚说：“你起来，去见住撒玛利亚的以色列王亚哈，他下去要得拿伯的葡萄园，现今正在那园里。你要对他说：‘耶和华如此说：你杀了人，又得他的产业吗？’又要对他说：‘耶和华如此说：狗在何处舔拿伯的血，也必在何处舔你的血。’”亚哈对以利亚说：“我仇敌啊，你找到我吗？”他回答说：“我找到你了；因为你卖了自己，行耶和华眼中看为恶的事。

就用比喻对他们说：“有一个财主田产丰盛；自己心里思想说：‘我的出产没有地方收藏，怎么办呢？’又说：‘我要这么办：要把我的仓房拆了，另盖更大的，在那里好收藏我一切的粮食和财物，然后要对我的灵魂说：灵魂哪，你有许多财物积存，可作多年的费用，只管安安逸逸地吃喝快乐吧！’神却对他说：‘无知的人哪，今夜必要你的灵魂；你所预备的要归谁呢？’凡为自己积财，在神面前却不富足的，也是这样。”耶稣又对门徒说：“所以我告诉你们，不要为生命忧虑吃什么，为身体忧虑穿什么；因为生命胜于饮食，身体胜于衣裳。你想乌鸦，也不种也不收，又没有仓又没有库，神尚且养活它。你们比飞鸟是何等地贵重呢！

“人子啊，耶路撒冷的居民对你的弟兄、你的本族、你的亲属、以色列全家，就是对大众说：‘你们远离耶和华吧！这地是赐给我们为业的。’

“人子啊，住在以色列荒废之地的人说：‘亚伯拉罕独自一人能得这地为业，我们人数众多，这地更是给我们为业的。’

“你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了！因为你们正当人前，把天国的门关了，自己不进去，正要进去的人，你们也不容他们进去。
