祂远远看见有一棵枝叶茂盛的无花果树，就走过去找果子吃。到了树下，却什么也找不到，只有满树的叶子，因为当时不是收无花果的季节。

他们犹如来自所多玛、长在蛾摩拉的葡萄树，结的葡萄粒粒有毒，串串苦涩；酿的酒如蛇的毒液，如眼镜蛇的毒液。

有谁当兵要自备粮饷呢？有谁栽种葡萄园，却不吃园中出产的葡萄呢？有谁牧养牛羊，却不喝牛羊的奶呢？

诸天啊，请听！大地啊，要侧耳听！耶和华说：“我把孩子抚育成人，他们竟然背叛我。牛认识主人，驴也认得主人的槽，以色列却不认识，我的子民却不明白。”唉！你们这罪恶的民族，恶贯满盈的百姓，作恶的子孙，败坏的儿女！你们背弃耶和华，藐视以色列的圣者，与祂疏远。

祂看见路旁有一棵无花果树，便走过去，却发现除了叶子外什么也没有。祂对那棵树说：“你将再不会结果子！”那棵树立刻枯萎了。

“到葡萄成熟时，园主派一个奴仆去收取他该得的一份。

你若不与我们同去，谁会知道我和你的子民在你面前蒙了恩呢？岂不是因为你的同在才使我们不同于地上其他民族吗？”

万军之耶和华的葡萄园就是以色列，祂所喜爱的葡萄树就是犹大人。祂希望看到公平，却只看见杀戮；指望看到公义，却只听见冤声。

你的衣服为何是红色的，好像榨酒池中踩踏葡萄者的衣服？“我独自在榨酒池踩踏，万民中无人跟我在一起。我在愤怒中踩踏他们，在烈怒中践踏他们；他们的血溅到我的衣服上，染红了我的衣服。

到了收获的季节，他差奴仆去葡萄园向佃户收取他应得的收成，但那些佃户却把奴仆揍了一顿，使他空手而归。园主又派另一个奴仆去，那些佃户照样将他殴打并羞辱一番，使他空手而归。园主又派第三个奴仆去，他们又把他打伤，抛在园外。“园主说，‘我该怎样办呢？不如叫我所疼爱的儿子去吧。他们大概会尊敬他。’“岂料那些佃户看见来人是园主的儿子，便彼此商量说，‘这个人是产业继承人，我们把他杀掉，这葡萄园就归我们了！’于是他们把园主的儿子拖到葡萄园外杀了。“那么，园主会怎样处治他们呢？他必来杀掉这些佃户，把葡萄园转租给别人。”众人听了就说：“但愿这种事永远不会发生！”耶稣定睛看着他们，问道：“那么，圣经上说，“‘工匠丢弃的石头已成了房角石’，这句话是什么意思呢？凡跌在这石头上的人，将粉身碎骨；这石头落在谁身上，将把谁砸烂。”

那些天，我在犹大看见有人在安息日榨酒，搬运禾捆驮在驴背上，又在安息日把酒、葡萄、无花果和各样的出产带进耶路撒冷。我就在他们卖食物的那天警告他们。

耶路撒冷啊，你这忠贞的妻子竟变成了妓女！你从前充满公平，是公义之家，现在却住着凶手。你曾经像银子，现在却像渣滓；曾经像美酒，现在却像搀了水的酒。你的首领是叛逆之徒，与盗贼为伍，个个收受贿赂，贪图好处，不为孤儿辩护，不替寡妇申冤。

当初，至高者赐万国产业，把人类分开，祂依照天使的数目，为万族定疆界。但以色列人属于耶和华，雅各是祂的产业。

仅存的锡安城也像葡萄园里的草棚、瓜田中的茅舍、被困无援的孤城。

又有一位掌管烈火的天使从祭坛那里出来，对手拿镰刀的天使高喊：“挥动你锋利的镰刀，收取地上葡萄树的果实吧！它们已经熟透了。”于是，那天使挥动镰刀，收取了地上的葡萄，抛到上帝烈怒的大榨酒池中。葡萄在城外的榨酒池中被踩踏，血从榨酒池中涌出，高至马的嚼环，流了三百公里远。

后来，参孙在梭烈谷爱上一位名叫大利拉的女子。

上帝啊，我们亲耳听过祖先讲述你在古时，在我们祖先时代的作为。你亲手赶出外族，把我们的祖先安置在那里；你击溃列邦，使我们的祖先兴旺发达。他们不是靠自己的刀剑征服那里，不是靠自己的臂膀得胜，而是靠你的权能、力量和恩惠，因为你爱他们。

我从峰顶观看他们，从高岗眺望他们，这独居一方之民，不与万国同列。

于是，耶稣说了一个比喻：“有人在葡萄园里种了一棵无花果树，他去树那里找果子，却找不到。他对园丁说，‘三年来，我一直盼望它结果子，它却一个也没结。把它砍了，免得白占土地。’

以色列是茂盛的葡萄树，硕果累累。可是，他结果越多，建造的祭坛就越多；土地出产越丰富，他就把神柱装饰得越美丽。

愚昧无知的人啊，你们就这样报答耶和华吗？祂是你们的父，你们的创造主，祂创造了你们，塑造了你们。

身为以色列人，他们拥有上帝儿子的名分、上帝的荣耀、诸约、律法、圣殿敬拜和各种应许。

到了收获的季节，园主派奴仆到佃户那里收果子。

“你这羊群的瞭望塔，锡安城的坚垒啊！从前的国权——耶路撒冷城的王位必重新归你。”
