See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.

I have written your name on the palms of my hands. Your walls are never out of my sight.

Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.

See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands. Always in my mind is a picture of Jerusalem’s walls in ruins.

Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

Look, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me.

Look, I have inscribed your name on my palms; your walls are constantly before me.

Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. Your walls are continually before me.

Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death; jealousy is as unrelenting as Sheol. Love’s flames are fiery flames— an almighty flame!

Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen on your walls; they will never be silent, day or night. There is no rest for you, who remind the LORD.

On that day”— this is the declaration of the LORD of Armies—“ I will take you, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, my servant”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ and make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you.” This is the declaration of the LORD of Armies.

Let it serve as a sign for you on your hand and as a reminder on your forehead, so that the LORD’s instruction may be in your mouth; for the LORD brought you out of Egypt with a strong hand.

Violence will never again be heard of in your land; devastation and destruction will be gone from your borders. You will call your walls Salvation and your city gates Praise.

Go around Zion, encircle it; count its towers,note its ramparts; tour its citadels so that you can tell a future generation:

I will make your fortifications out of rubies, your gates out of sparkling stones, and all your walls out of precious stones.

On that day this song will be sung in the land of Judah: We have a strong city. Salvation is established as walls and ramparts.

“ As I live”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ though you, Coniah son of Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, were a signet ring on my right hand, I would tear you from it.

Twelve angels were at the gates; the names of the twelve tribes of Israel’s sons were inscribed on the gates.There were three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.The city wall had twelve foundations, and the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb were on the foundations.The one who spoke with me had a golden measuring rod to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.The city is laid out in a square; its length and width are the same. He measured the city with the rod at 12,000 stadia. Its length, width, and height are equal.Then he measured its wall, 144 cubits according to human measurement, which the angel used.The building material of its wall was jasper, and the city was pure gold clear as glass.The foundations of the city wall were adorned with every kind of jewel: the first foundation is jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.The twelve gates are twelve pearls; each individual gate was made of a single pearl. The main street of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass.
