My own hand laid the foundations of the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens; when I summon them, they all stand up together.

你们向天举目，看看是谁创造了这万象？是谁把众星一一领出来，给它们取名？祂的权柄和能力极大无比，它们一个也不会少。

创造诸天、塑造和建立大地给人居住、没有使地荒凉的耶和华上帝说：“我是耶和华，是独一无二的上帝。

太初你奠立大地的根基，亲手创造诸天。

此外又说：“主啊，太初你奠立大地的根基，亲手创造诸天。天地都要消亡，但你永远长存。天地都会像衣服渐渐破旧，你要像卷外衣一样把天地卷起来。天地将如衣服一样被更换，但你永远不变，你的年日永无穷尽。”

因为耶和华用六天造了天、地、海和其中的万物，第七天便休息了，所以耶和华赐福这日，把它定为圣日。

谁曾用手心量海水？谁曾用手掌度苍天？谁曾用升斗盛大地的尘土？谁曾用秤称高山，用天平称丘陵？

创造诸天、铺展穹苍、设立大地和地上的一切、赐给世人生命气息和灵性的耶和华上帝说：

愿这一切都来赞美耶和华！因为祂一发命令便创造了万物。祂使这一切各处其位，永不改变，祂的命令永不废弃。要在世上赞美耶和华，海中的巨兽和深渊啊，火焰、冰雹、雪花、云霞和听祂吩咐的狂风啊，

耶和华啊，你的话与天同存，亘古不变。你的信实万代长存；你创造了大地，使它恒久不变。天地照你的法令一直存到今日，因为万物都是你的仆役。

上帝的宝座设立在大地的圆圈之上，地上的人类好像蚱蜢。祂铺展诸天，就像铺展幔子、铺展人居住的帐篷。

祂决定众星的数目，给它们一一命名。
