“ Listen to me, O house of Jacob, all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been borne by me from before your birth, carried from the womb;

雅各家，以色列家一切余剩的要听我言：“你们自从生下，就蒙我保抱，自从出胎，便蒙我怀搋。

雅各家，以色列家所有的余民哪，你们自从生下就蒙我抱，自出母胎便由我来背，你们都要听从我。

雅各家，以色列家所有的余民哪，你们自从生下就蒙我抱，自出母胎便由我来背，你们都要听从我。

耶和华说：“雅各家啊，以色列家的余民啊，要听我说。你们一出生，我就照顾你们；一出母胎，我就呵护你们。

“雅各家啊，以色列家所有余剩的人哪！你们都要听我的话，你们自出母腹，就蒙我怀抱；自出母胎，就蒙我提携。

“雅各家啊，以色列家所有的余剩之民哪，你们这些自出母腹就被我负抱、自出母胎就被我背负的人，要听我的话！

耶和華說：「雅各家啊，以色列家的餘民啊，要聽我說。你們一出生，我就照顧你們；一出母胎，我就呵護你們。

“雅各家啊，以色列家所有餘剩的人哪！你們都要聽我的話，你們自出母腹，就蒙我懷抱；自出母胎，就蒙我提攜。

『雅各家啊，要聽我！以色列家的一切餘民哪，要細聽！你們自從出母腹、就蒙保抱，自從出母胎、便蒙懷搋；

「雅各家啊，以色列家所有的餘剩之民哪，你們這些自出母腹就被我負抱、自出母胎就被我背負的人，要聽我的話！

雅各家、以色列之遺民歟、爾其聽我、爾自初生、為我襁負、爾自出胎、為我懷抱、

雅各家以色列族之餘民、自肇厥邦、我保抱之、提攜之、若懷赤子、以至耄耋、皓然白首、我扶翼爾、拯救爾、爾其聽予焉。

雅各家以色列族之餘民、當聽我言、自爾有生、我保抱爾、自爾出胎、出胎或作生於世我提攜爾、

“ Listen to me, you descendants of Jacob, all the remnant of the people of Israel, you whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born.

The Lord says,“ Family of Jacob, listen to me. Pay attention, you people of Israel who are left alive. I have taken good care of you since your life began. I have carried you since you were born as a nation.

“ Listen to me, descendants of Jacob, all you who remain in Israel. I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you were born.

“ Listen to me, house of Jacob, all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been sustained from the womb, carried along since birth.

“ Listen to Me, house of Jacob, And all the remnant of the house of Israel, You who have been carried by Me from birth And have been carried from the womb;

“ Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, And all the remnant of the house of Israel, Who have been upheld by Me from birth, Who have been carried from the womb:

Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, that have been borne by me from their birth, that have been carried from the womb;

“ Listen to Me, house of Jacob, all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been sustained from the womb, carried along since birth.

Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne[ by me] from the belly, which are carried from the womb:

“ Listen to me, O family of Jacob, all you who are left from the family of Israel, you who have been carried from birth, you who have been supported from the time you left the womb.

“ Listen to me, house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, that have been carried from their birth, that have been carried from the womb.

and in the wilderness, where you have seen how the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, all the way that you went until you came to this place.’

Upon you I have leaned from before my birth; you are he who took me from my mother’s womb. My praise is continually of you.

For though your people Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will return. Destruction is decreed, overflowing with righteousness.

“ And when I passed by you and saw you wallowing in your blood, I said to you in your blood,‘ Live!’ I said to you in your blood,‘ Live!’I made you flourish like a plant of the field. And you grew up and became tall and arrived at full adornment. Your breasts were formed, and your hair had grown; yet you were naked and bare.“ When I passed by you again and saw you, behold, you were at the age for love, and I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your nakedness; I made my vow to you and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Lord God, and you became mine.Then I bathed you with water and washed off your blood from you and anointed you with oil.I clothed you also with embroidered cloth and shod you with fine leather. I wrapped you in fine linen and covered you with silk.And I adorned you with ornaments and put bracelets on your wrists and a chain on your neck.And I put a ring on your nose and earrings in your ears and a beautiful crown on your head.Thus you were adorned with gold and silver, and your clothing was of fine linen and silk and embroidered cloth. You ate fine flour and honey and oil. You grew exceedingly beautiful and advanced to royalty.And your renown went forth among the nations because of your beauty, for it was perfect through the splendor that I had bestowed on you, declares the Lord God.“ But you trusted in your beauty and played the whore because of your renown and lavished your whorings on any passerby; your beauty became his.You took some of your garments and made for yourself colorful shrines, and on them played the whore. The like has never been, nor ever shall be.

If the Lord of hosts had not left us a few survivors, we should have been like Sodom, and become like Gomorrah.

Yet you are he who took me from the womb; you made me trust you at my mother’s breasts.On you was I cast from my birth, and from my mother’s womb you have been my God.

Listen to me, O coastlands, and give attention, you peoples from afar. The Lord called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name.He made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me a polished arrow; in his quiver he hid me away.

“ Listen to me, you stubborn of heart, you who are far from righteousness:

Hear, O my people, while I admonish you! O Israel, if you would but listen to me!There shall be no strange god among you; you shall not bow down to a foreign god.I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.“ But my people did not listen to my voice; Israel would not submit to me.So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels.Oh, that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!

It may be that the Lord your God will hear the words of the Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to mock the living God, and will rebuke the words that the Lord your God has heard; therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’”

In that day the Lord will extend his hand yet a second time to recover the remnant that remains of his people, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the coastlands of the sea.

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:“ I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go.Oh that you had paid attention to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea;

In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them; in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.

‘ You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.

“ Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear not the reproach of man, nor be dismayed at their revilings.

“ Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, you who seek the Lord: look to the rock from which you were hewn, and to the quarry from which you were dug.

Hear this, O house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel, and who came from the waters of Judah, who swear by the name of the Lord and confess the God of Israel, but not in truth or right.

Remember these things, O Jacob, and Israel, for you are my servant; I formed you; you are my servant; O Israel, you will not be forgotten by me.

“ But now hear, O Jacob my servant, Israel whom I have chosen!Thus says the Lord who made you, who formed you from the womb and will help you: Fear not, O Jacob my servant, Jeshurun whom I have chosen.

Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that flutters over its young, spreading out its wings, catching them, bearing them on its pinions,the Lord alone guided him, no foreign god was with him.
