我抹爾愆、若散密雲、我塗爾罪、如消陰霧、爾其歸我、蓋我贖爾、

我塗抹爾罪、若驅密雲、予已拯爾、爾當歸誠。

我塗抹爾之愆尤、如霧消散、塗抹爾之罪惡、如雲滅沒、爾當歸誠於我、因我救贖爾、

I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.”

I will sweep your sins away as if they were a cloud. I will blow them away as if they were the morning mist. Return to me. Then I will set you free.”

I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.

I,[ even] I,[ am] he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called[ thee] by thy name; thou[ art] mine.

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive[ us] graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands,[ Ye are] our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things,[ as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation[ received] by tradition from your fathers;But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

And cover not their iniquity, and let not their sin be blotted out from before thee: for they have provoked[ thee] to anger before the builders.

We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned.Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied.Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that[ our] prayer should not pass through.

The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy[ shall be] upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy;[ and] sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.

Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:

Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.

And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.As for me, this[ is] my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that[ is] upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

As far as the east is from the west,[ so] far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man’s, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD.

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Yet, LORD, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay[ me]: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal[ thus] with them in the time of thine anger.
