耶和華又曰、我之選民、為我臣僕、可為證、灼知予、篤信予、以我為上帝、在我之先、在我之後、無他上帝。

All the nations gather together and the peoples assemble. Which of their gods foretold this and proclaimed to us the former things? Let them bring in their witnesses to prove they were right, so that others may hear and say,“ It is true.”

耶和华对假神说：“呈上你们的案件！”雅各的王说：“拿出你们的证据！”让它们拿出证据来，告诉我们将要发生的事吧！至于先前的事，告诉我们究竟是什么，好让我们用心思索得以明白事情的结局；或者直接告知我们即将来临的事，告诉我们后来的事，好让我们知道你们是神！你们或好或歹做一些事，让我们一同惊奇观看吧！看哪，你们连无有都算不上，你们的作为连虚无也够不上；那选择你们的是可憎恶的！我从北方兴起一人；他从日出之地而来，他必呼求我的名。他必把掌权者像泥土一样践踏，如同陶匠踹踏陶泥。谁从起初宣告这事，好让我们知道？谁预先告知这事，好让我们说“他所说的没错”？谁也没有宣告，谁也没有告知，谁也没有听见你们的言语！

你可以提醒我，让我们一起争讼！你尽管陈述，好自显为义！

众海岛啊，你们要在我面前沉默！万民哪，你们要重新得力！近前来开口吧；让我们聚在一起辩明公正！

有谁像我呢？让它前来公布、宣告、陈明那从我设立古时民族以来所发生的事；让它宣告即将来临的事和后来要发生的事！你们不要惧怕，也不要害怕！难道我从前不就告知了你们、向你们宣告了吗？你们是我的见证人！除我以外，难道还有神吗？没有别的磐石！我知道没有！”塑造偶像的全都虚空，他们所喜爱的毫无益处；为偶像本身作见证的，一无所见，一无所知，他们都必蒙羞。

大能的神耶和华已经发话，他从日出之地到日落之处呼唤大地。

因此我从前就向你宣告了，在事情临到之前就告知你了，免得你说：‘这些是我的偶像所行的，是我雕刻和铸造的偶像所命定的。’你已经听见了，就当观看这一切！难道你还不宣告吗？从今以后，我要告知你新的事，就是你所不知道的隐秘事——

万民哪，你们当听这话！当倾听，世上所有的居民哪——无论地位高低、或贫或富，都当倾听。

你们全都聚集来听，假神中谁曾宣告过这些事？耶和华所爱的那位，必行耶和华所喜悦的事对付巴比伦——他的膀臂对付迦勒底人。

“从列国逃脱的人哪，聚集而来，一同近前吧——他们抬着木头雕刻的偶像，向不能拯救人的神祷告，真是无知——近前宣告，一同商议吧！是谁从古时就告知了这事呢？是谁从前就宣告了这事呢？难道不是我耶和华吗？除我以外，没有别的神；我是公义的神和拯救者；除我以外，一个也没有。

我从起初就宣告末后的事，从古时就宣告尚未成就的事。我说：‘我的筹算必成立，我所喜悦的一切，我都必成就。’
